Ensure you keep yourself updated with changing immigration rules from April 2023, in particular the increase in salary threshold for skilled workers visa for those who intend to switch to this visa route after studies

How this plays out in terms of employment opportunity will be determined after implementing these changes,please note it only affects people applying to switch to this route or extend their skilled workers route after April 2023

Is this the norm please? Because when the main applicant applied, she did not pay anything extra for biometrics again.

The 38,500 might be for prime time appointment, if you want a closer date.
You will get a later date when you don't pay for prime time, depending on the dates available.
If the person is not in a hurry, there's no reason to pay for it, except the available dates are very far.

Confirm from your agent if it's for prime time, and him to send screenshot of available dates so you can make an informed decision

There's no priority for dependants so unsure where the biometrics fee is coming from. When you decide to use an agent you should be able to challenge the process, on this platform we encourage DIY

As a dependant you can always arrive at anytime, so you don't need additional services from TLS

Take your time, get the next appointment without paying extra and go for your biometrics

Apparently, I got an unconditional offer from University of Bolton.
However, there's a slight confusion, I did not receive any official email from them regarding the offer.
I only realized that I have been offered the admission when I logged into my portal.
And even after accepting the offer (from my portal) I have not seen the main offer letter anywhere in the portal, neither did I get an email to that effect.

But "admission decision" on the portal now shows "unconditional offer" and response shows "Firmly accepted" .

Dunno if this is normal for university of Bolton.
I have tried to call the school admissions office, but the calls are not answered.
I sent an email, and the response to the mail was for me to call another number, which they are still not picking up.

Any advice further please?
Anyone experiencing same from University of Bolton here?

She needs to do her internship placement in Nigeria before traveling.
Especially if she wants to get license to practice in the UK by HCPC.
HCPC will ask for proof of professional work experience or internship training in her home country before she can be eligible to get license.
Same rule applies to Many other regulatory bodies of others countries.
