Has anyone here tried to renew their Nigerian passport in the UK? What's the process like please? I've visited the website several times but can't seem to progress beyond the page where I input the reason for passport renewal. It also navigates to a login page meanwhile I don't see any link for creating an account (which I assume is required before you can log in, in the first place).

I went to renew my in January, estimated delivery date is this week, was in 9ja embassy to check the progress last week but they serve me breakfast dat my passport processing is yet to commence despite the fact that those that did after me in January already received theirs. I also met Nov/Dec applicant there who are yet to receive theirs.
If u get something important to do with the passport 6months time, jejely start the application. If u click n Nigeria Immigration Service link u wil see how to create an account.

Anyone applied to Edge Hill University, or anyone studying there: Abeg, on the average how long do they take to issue CAS…

Ait. What I noticed is that UKVI do notice the date u fill in your application to determine how urgent you need it to come out quickly provided your application is successful. I filled in Jan 16 for my wife as the date she's expected to be in Uk and the BRP mail came that same date and also filled march 19 for my own and kids and we received feedback today been 19th of march.
In summary from my little experience, always filled a closer date after your biometric appointment.Am not saying am right but just an observation

Just a coincidence. It has nothing to do with it. I filled April 1 and received brp mail today.

Good morning all, please i am in great need of your help, i was meant to attend northumbria for September 2022 but i had to withdraw my application due to some unforeseen circumstances and the school refunded my deposit. The man who helped fast tracked the payment using his acc because he works for heritage bank has been claiming he did not see the money and the proof shows transfer has been completed since jan 18. Please how can i go about confirming from heritage bank if money has been credited so his account so i can lay a claim at the police station. I need your help please house

You only have study gap of 3years because of nysc so u don't need reference

2. Maybe you should take the proof of payment to any Heritage bank and beg the customer care to help you check if the school has credited the account.
3. Go through court.

Why didn't the school refund the money to your account? Or was it the man who paid using his account?

thank you, the school wont pay to my account because money did not come out from my account. I do not want to go the police way without any evidence that he has the money in his account so as not to look stupid but j am sure the money would have been there. I don't think anyone will help you with a contact because it might put them in trouble. I would advice walk into any branch and ask the customer care if they can help. Show them your documents showing everything.

In a sane bank, it can't work as it will be against data protection which all naija banks now adhere to. Didn't you know 'The man' before you used him to process funds? Not sure how much police fit get involved but this is more of a civil case so better politely speak with 'this man' and reason with him.

Please before applying make sure you know the school payment plans as that’s very important, some agents would want to down play it but don’t allow them to do it.

Unfortunately Police would not be able to help as the are not a debt recovering agency and franckly speaking most of those guys are just you know "Olopas"

If truly the guy received the money and claimed he didn't receive it then its on the borderline of financial crime which is EFCC jurisdiction, your best approach is to file a report with EFCC.

Please i really need more light about the issue of dependant, I heard that some institutions have been reducing the number of dependant through CAS.... That is a low-key things... Please help I really wanna know if it a rumor

EFCC shaa .. . It's not money laundered or financial fraud. If truly the guy received the money, 'The man' genuinely received the money from the sender (uni).

If this kind of case is within their jurisdiction, do you know how many millions will abuse this system claiming they are owed moeny? Na to go civil court

So they sent BRP mail for my wife and daughter since 5th of march, then they sent collection mail for my wife 3 days after.
However they haven't sent for my daughter yet up till now. My wife went to their office and they told her her passport is ready but my daughter's own is not ready, it's still on DMC but I have both their BRP. Friday made it 15 working days.

What do you suggest I do, I've already booked flight after getting their BRP mails. Which mail can I send message to for the collection mail to be sent/the application tracker to be moved from DMC

You won't be needing to address a gap year because the gap between your last degree(2021) and now is less than 5years

Don't be too concerned about this

EFCC does all financial crimes, they are are his best bet.

They will most likely confirm if he received the money and they invite him to their office and block all his account pending the time he reports to them.
