Good morning house.
I must commend all those that have been responding to questions on this platform.
I must say that you people are wonderful.

Please is it advisable to get loan of 80K Usd to study a masters in a STEM Course in usa?

How much per hour can someone earn while a masters student in US?

Is it true that securing a loan to study is a trap for international students in Usa and heavy burden to pay back??

Thank you in advance.

While looking for information, don't be mislead. If things happen like the way this guy said, why are people still studying, why don't they just look for jobs?

The advice I'll give are practical ones that won't involve you shooting yourself in the leg Only to get here and be like "I wasn't told"

$30k in tuition isn't easy money. If it is, Americans won't be taking loans to go to school.

So, why don't you try and apply for an assistantship that'll get your tuition waived? Or better still, if you don't get it, if you have savings enough to cover your first year, that's good too. It's a 2yrs program and the only thing you can do to help yourself is to make sure your tuition is ready or covered in some ways. Don't believe the advice this individual gave you. I don't know why klawaa is giving you such advise, maybe it's what an average nigerian want to hear You won't raise $30k by working illegally and still studying at the same time. The money you get from Uber can sort you accomodations and utilities, but tuition??

I also imagined that he asked his question based off the fact that he wanted to know how people offset tuition. But this one that he is all about the cheddar itself and talking about 2 million on a monthly basis, then his best bet is to go and experience things for himself. Nobody can adequately supply him info on that. People are different, so are our experiences. As he's said 2 mill today, so have I known others, that barely made it to finish their programs, because of money problems in that same UK. One thing for sure though, is that neither of the two rhetorics will inform my personal decision to study in the UK.

Hi Guys, Is it a red flag to change your major if you've been refused visas twice?

PS: I felt really bad that when I was unable to schedule interview I came here to seek solution but to nobody answered to my many questions. But the people here were quick to attack me when I made a post of how to retrieve my passport (visa) from Dhl .

Congrats to you!!👏

Sorry about before but best believe that many of us here, have once had our questions ignored too. People may be busy, people may be distracted, or indeed, people may not have answers. There's no use to feel bad about nothing, because no one's under any obligation to help anybody, truly. Whatever we do, we do out of personal will. Just like it's your prerogative to not share transcript. While some of us mightn't have cared much, thanks that you did anyway.

Congrats again.

You're right. I agree with you. I've personally met people whose studies were truncated because of money too. That's why I think about ways I can give enough information to my people so they can apply for scholarships and needn't worry about getting stressed in such manner

Greetings Everyone... Please I need some assistance. I want to pay for my enrollment deposit so I can receive my I-20. Abeg I don't know anyone in US and I'm not using any agent. Can someone help me out so I can refund in naira or any site or app I can use to make the payment
Try some apps like Payday and chippercash
Rate is high but you will eventually get the payment done

Hi, please, my interview date is on 20, April. I was supposed to go for Spring admission by 18, January 2023 but because of the backlogs, I was given August before I later got April 20,2023. The school used my old account statement, which was $38000 at N422 by December last year, then the school asked me to have $35200 for my i-20, but I had $38000 in my account. But now that the dollars rates have changed, my first question is can I use the same account statement because that was used for my i-20? My second question is that is the account still valid for my visa interview since that was what the school used for my i-20 and it was printed out like four months ago?

There is just a slight change in Dollar to Naira rate, remember official rate will be used.
So check current rate to know if you are still on the right track and since the account statement is not up to 6 months you can still make use of it

Thanks so much for the reply. The problem now is that the amount is now 2N24,000 above the initial amount with the current dollars rate. Can I print my current account statement along with the old one to show them that the amount is now above the former one in accordance to the current dollars rate? Thanks in advance

Yes, you can do that but I don't think showing the old statement is necessary

If you're going for computer science (or related disciplines) look into CSUs in California. They are very cheap and you only need half that.

If they accept debit card, use payday or chipper cash

It depends on his savings. If he can reasonably handle the cost then he should consider it. There are lots of opportunities in Chicago

Has anyone been able to schedule another appointment after being denied this year? I was denied early this month but I haven’t been able to schedule another appointment. Also, I’d appreciate it if the link to Abuja date search group can be provided. The previous ones dropped are not working. Thank you all.

Was it not stated in their requirement earlier?
Have you been given admission? If yes, write back to them telling them that it's impossible to get your WES evaluation within this time left. Otherwise, there's nothing else you can do. It's impossible to get your evaluation done within this short time left.

WES evaluation actually takes a minimum of 4weeks for electronic means, and 8 - 12 weeks for manual method.

Once your request has been approved, an email will be sent to you telling to go ahead and schedule. You can then schedule using this link : http://cgifederal.secure.force.com/scheduleappointment

Good day fellow nairalander, I have some question to ask and clarify about visa appointment after filling ds 160.

I did visit ustraveldocs site and it redirected to cgifederal.secure.force loading and redirected me again to atlas.my.salesforces-suites.com
I just want to know if atlas.my.salesforce-sites.com because it use to be cgifederal.secure.force.com. I just want to know if atlas.my.salesforce-sites.com is the right site to book an appointment. I need clarification from those who did there own recently, if they experience similar thing.

Your sincere contributions will be highly appreciated
