Do you have a bsc already? If yes going for diploma might affect your chances of getting visa. The most important thing is getting in first, every other thing should align. There are affordable level 1 schools with a fair minimum deposit. If you can go through that route

I'm not really familiar with diploma or if you can apply directly with your NCE cert.
Maybe others can weigh in on the issue or you can engage a trusted Australian immigration agent, some of them will access your situation with you without any financial implication.
There are also free agents that will counsel you and still help out with the application all free, but you need to be very patient with them.
I have personally used IDP in the past, check their website fill a form and they will contact you for counseling.

There's fully funded masters by research and PhD and many people here have secured full funding PhD. Also Australian awards scholarship is currently on now, a quick trip to Google will provide you with all the information you need

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate

Thanks for the response. We’ve tried contacting both of them. Fatayi says they do on a rolling basis. IOM is radio silent. Booking the regular appointment on their website isn’t working. Any contacts will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi Dr Lomaxx. I will like to reach out to you. I am a medical student who will be starting Pre-clinicals in a month's time and I need you to put me on track through my medical school journey.
I don't know if you can drop your contact. Thanks

Hello everyone. I have gone through over 500 pages on this thread and I got key update (thanks). HERE IS MY SITUATION
Presently I'm studying for my MSc on a full scholarship in Japan which will be completed in Feb 2024. I'm hoping to pursue a PhD in Australia from 2024 (hopefully fully funded) in management or tourism. Since I'm going with the intention of future PR, I'm also considering a 2nd MSc in a course with high job prospects in Australia (particularly in IT).
My expected POF is 12m 100% from me. Will it suffice?
Secondly the funds are from stipends, PT jobs and gift. Is it okay?
Thirdly, I can see that agency is required for most Australia schools, please can anyone kindly recommend a good one considering I'm outside Nigeria?
I have a diploma in foodtech, Bsc in tourism and hospitality and presently studying international policy cooperation in Japan. Can I apply for a management PhD?
And lastly, does it mean getting admission from an AL1 university means on don't have to provide PoF during visa process?
Apologies for all the questions

Hi Guys, I am currently staying in a 1-bed apartment in Brunswick, Melbourne and my lease will be ending soon. Is there anyone needing to rent, I can speak to the leasing agent for him/her. Also, this is close to the CBD and there are 2 tram stops close to the house.

Apologies for all the questions
Proof of Funds: The required amount of proof of funds may vary depending on the university and the course you are applying for, so it's best to check with the specific universities you are interested in. However, 12 million naira may or may not be sufficient to cover your living expenses and tuition fees for the duration of your studies as this is dependent on the tuition fees and length of the program you are wishing to study. The general rule to determine how much you need as POF is to calculate the remaining tuition fees (after paying your deposit), Living expenses for 1 year (AUD $21,041), flight ticket (AUD $3,000).

Source of Funds: It is generally acceptable to use a combination of different sources of funds, such as stipends, part-time jobs, and gifts. However, you should be able to provide evidence of the source of each fund, such as bank statements, employment contracts, and gift letters.

Agent: There are many education agents available to assist you with your application to Australian universities. However, it's important to choose a reputable agent who is knowledgeable about the Australian education system and visa requirements. You can start by researching online or on this forum and reading reviews from previous clients. It's also a good idea to check with the universities you are interested in to see if they have any preferred agents they recommend.

PhD in Management: With your academic background in tourism and hospitality, and your current studies in international policy cooperation, you may be eligible to apply for a PhD in management. However, admission requirements vary by university, so it's important to check the specific requirements for each program you are interested in. There are a few people on this forum that secured a fully funded PhD scholarship, so you might check with them for guidance.

Proof of Funds for AL1 universities: Admission to an AL1 university in Australia does not automatically exempt you from providing proof of funds during the visa process. You still need to meet the financial requirements set by the Department of Home Affairs, which may vary depending on your circumstances and the university you are attending. Although a few people on this forum that have applied to AL1 universities have reported not providing POF during visa application process, the department still holds the right to request for POF at any time. It is advisable to have it ready in case it is requested.

I hope this information helps and wish you all the best in your academic pursuits!

Hi
Please, I applied for a student visa using one of the listed L2 schools on the 4th of this month. I have full scholarship for my studies. My question then is, will this really affect my visa grant? The school was in L1 before I made my application.
Thanks.
