But why would you not want Nigerians to take their destiny by their hand. Is there something we are missing about you? Because, no this cannot be about a politician who does not care whether you live or not. I thought your personal interest should be your first interest. LeoDeKing: 1 Like |

seunmsg: Tinubu suffers dementia. That is behind his Balablu and vrooom vrooom speeches. That's why he would raise his hands clutching a walking stick while the National anthem was playing. To use old and frail Tinubu as front to renew the tenure of Buhari cabal in Aso is behind the recent primitive and fraudulent election heist in Nigeria. INEC Chairman who earlier vowed in November 2022 for a regulation for the 2023 elections later abandoned his vow midway into the voting proper, and took to the outdated system of vote collation. Where on earth can that be accepted? In Nigeria? But the once most vocal SW people that lead protest keep quiet; some give tacit support, because Tinubu of the SW is involved. But some in the SW don't see that Buharideens are trying to use old and frail Tinubu as front for the Buharideens in Aso Rock to continue with Fulanization and Islamization of entire Nigeria. Possible 12 unbroken years of Muslim presidency of Nigeria, what do you think it was set up for? |

seunmsg: Restructured you say? Okay...it seems you have Nigerian Law Schools in the key zones of the country. Start by having the Nigerian Defense Academies, War Colleges and Ammunition Depots spread out in all the key zones of the country as well. The Roman Empire at its height once had four Generals overseeing different areas of that vast Empire. For a short period, this was crucial for the balance of power as the power tussles and intrigues raged on in the Roman Senate. Why do you think at this age giving a single General that much power from Abuja is a wise idea? The truth is since security has become a very crucial and sensitive topic, let the key Military heads from each zone or region emerge--and let the progress of their career rest on how effective they have been in saving lives and quelling terrorism. I doubt that any Middle Belt Christian will see a Northern Muslim military person based in Abuja as representative of their interests either. The formerly Boko Haram repented Jihadist soldiers in the Nigerian Army have blood on their hands in aiding and abetting Fulani Terrorists in their daily pogrom... The Middle Belt needs its own leading General figurehead, just as much as the Niger Delta, South East and SW....A serious restructure will exhaustively decentralize the chain of commands in such a way that more understanding and native Military leaders are ready to assist State Governors work as Chief Security Officers of the State--and not un-democratically overriding the decisions of a democratically elected Governor with stupid Jihadists policies from Abuja! Restructure starts with rooting out the Jihadists or sending them back to their own terrorists ridden homelands, not the the Niger Delta or East to make a quick buck. 2 Likes |

May God grant our incoming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the wisdom to see Nigeria through these. I'm from South/South, I believed in the leadership capacity of Tinubu to transform Nigeria into a better nation that is void of any tribal sentiment and religious bigotry. Tinubu is one man that has great influence across Nigeria and also a great progressive that's disciplined enough to remain in his political party (AD that metamorphosed to ACN, before it's merger with CPC to form APC) without decamping. You can indeed be trusted by Nigerians. |

Nepotism is the root of corruption, nigeria military, police and paramilitary are built on nepotism. Many of our armed security outfits are not happy with what is going on in the country.I just hope that a time will not come when our security personal start killing each other. Two cadets pass out the same time, because one is from the south he will not be promoted like his mate.Over domination by a set of tribe is very dangerous to the country. 2 Likes |

The truth is that if we are serious about moving forward as a country, the military and all our security forces need to be regionalized. Let Hausa soldiers handle Hausa security matter, same with Yoruba, Igbo and others. This will create healthy rivalry and cooperation in areas of strength only. But lumping together everything in terms of security while the country is riddled with ethnic and religious bigotries will only create inefficiencies and nonchalance in the system. If for anything, Nigerians are at their best when competing with each other, they are very good at a competition. Decentralizing the system will create a healthy competition that spurs growths among subnational ethnic groups, it will also prevent any security threat from easily filtering through and paralyzing the whole system. 2 Likes 1 Share |
