jideflash:
Sovereign Trust Insurance (STI) is tearing up with another full bid today, +9.52%. grin
I expect them to declare dividend by year end 2023.

I wasn't patient with STI, too bad. Myc what's Hari Royal exchange any news

Jerekre:

1. 32
2. I have shares and some pay dividends, plus my assets>liabilities. I have also read some finance books, I think they're up to 10, I also believe my savings rate is up to 10% (will start tracking this). I thought I thought I was reinvesting my dividends till I decided to put all my trades on MS Excel shocked it was bloody cry .
3. I'm not planning to score 100 since I I don't have any plans for Real Estate for now, for 2 reasons
i. I don't have enough funds, and
ii. I think the returns are smaller, than from dividend paying stocks like Zenith, GTCo, UBA etc.).
4. So I can have more options in life, and also to pass it on

Well done Sir/Ma! I wish you well on the wealth journey.

Can remember this Sovereign Trust when we were expecting it to move that time......
There's this Oga that bought and will be asking about it all the time......think he exited it around that time too.

That's why, in this market patience can be good once a good or potential stock is identified.........that's for people with huge funds sha. You can't expect small size portfolio to be waiting endlessly for one stock to gbe body. grin

As for Royalex, like I told you the last time you asked, except you want to gamble. Imagine if you'd picked @67, na so the thing for don fall more now.
* Let's try and see if it can fall more to circa 0.40k, then you can gamble it and average down if needs be.
It touched 0.49 earlier.
* You can equally keep eye on the price movement. Maybe we can also lay hands on any news around it.

You fit pick Access @10, make we see the kind corruption dem dey cook.
* Pls do you DD o*

Why are the 3 key things the incoming government need to do in the short to medium term to get our economy back on track?
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 2:53pm On May 15, 2023
Cash is king. The dividend cycle will almost be over by June. The companies with good fundamental are at thr bus stop. They are now dancing side ways. You should be expecting them to start tanking soon. The economy is finished and no foreign investors coming anytime soon.
Nevertheless we still participate in companies sharing corruption because the corruption must go round. Look at the companies making north .It is companies the wolves have shown interest to defend thr holdings.
The market is going to tank big time

I told you guys to sell fidelity and nacho.

As a trader , l don't fall in love with stocks.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by ogbs2020: 3:01pm On May 15, 2023
yMcy56:

Reason sir/ma?

In fact, these two should be monitored for pullback Ex-Div and keyed into. Also to be watched during downtime.........in my usual layman's opinion.

Fidelity is the most traded stock on Friday, accumulations has been going on for quite some weeks/mths now.

Contrary opinion is most welcomed.
.

Its better you trade guy.

Cowboys are in the market.

Sell .

The price will only pull back from 12/may.

Check out what is happening to access

New article alert...

What does the raft of failed banks in America and Europe mean for Nigerian banks?

In this first in a series of articles, I pen my thoughts about where our banks are at present and if investors should fret about the ongoing "Banking Contagion".
