Nairaland should stop publicising stuff like this before it systematically destroy our societal values, culture, and norms
Seun will never listen. The way be runs after traffic is no different from the way prostitutes runs after men in brothels.

I hope it's not too late before the world understands that this gay of a thing is a mental disorder, many people need help, but instead, they're justifying this insanity.

I can't say for the other gender, but how can you, as a man be attracted to your fellow man? Is it the muscles, biceps, flat and rigid ass that attract you?

So they insert their pricks into each other's arseholes, how disgusting!

I hope Africans strongly stand against this madness.

If I notice such in my son, I'm returning him bk to where he came from.
gay isn't a new thing, something wey even dey bible and ancient chinese texts...

Africans have a pure and well reserved culture which is free of immorality. This is one of the price to pay when parents shipped kids to oversea at a tender age and they ignorantly fall in love with foreign culture off immorality. African mothers will enunciate that " Remember the son of whom you are "

I am not gay but a staunch advocate.

100 years you said? Be patient. Work in progress!

I am the renowned “staphylococcus” on this forum. Any movement I start, comes to reality
I haven't seen any of your initiative that concerns upholding idiocy like LGBT that had come to pass. If you initiate any good move to better human existence and not to destroy it, sure it will come to pass

Emekuss:

There's nothing like hate here. A spade should be called a spade.
You're talking about wishing them to be fruitful, how will they reproduce? Even nature is against that. Had it been that your parents choose that way, I don't think you will be here saying this.
Again, I saw where you said that it's because of some sort of foreign religion, that's why we are against. Let me tell you, in normal African tradition before the white men came, if you try this they will stone you to death or banish you.

I thank God for Africa. We rejected this nonsense. If you want to join them, you can still go over there. I bet you, you will surely regret it someday.

How will they reproduce? You are making an assumption that must reproduce - Should that not be there choice to decide and how has that got to do with you? A lot of times we expect people to behave in some expected way without really considering if they want to. You know there are several ways to reproduce nowadays right and also there are children that needs a loving home.

You said call a spade a spade - who defines what a spade should be? Because something wasn’t the norm many years ago doesn’t mean it won’t change. Change is synonymous to nature and evolution is inevitable.

I think you need to revisit your African tradition properly. The idea that homosexuality is ‘western’ is based on western import – Christianity. True African culture celebrates diversity and promotes acceptance.

African culture is no stranger to homosexual behaviours and acts. For example, in my local language (Yoruba), the word for “homosexual” is adofuro, a colloquialism for someone who has anal sex. It might sound insulting and derogatory, however, the point is there is a word for the behaviour. Moreover, this is not a new word; it is as old as the Yoruba culture itself.

In the northern part of Nigeria, yan daudu is a Hausa term to described effeminate men who are considered to be wives to men. While the Yoruba word might be more about behaviour than identity, this Hausa term is more about identity. You have to look and act like a yan daudu to be called one. It is not an identity you can just carry. These words are neutral; they are not infused with hate or disgust.

In the Buganda Kingdom, part of modern-day Uganda, King Mwanga II was openly gay and faced no hate from his subjects until white men brought the Christian church and its condemnation. Though King Mwanga is the most prominent African recorded as being openly gay, he was not alone.

So please stop spreading hate and false information about the true African culture. Because the true African culture is one that celebrates diversity, promotes equality and acceptance, and recognises the contribution of everyone, whatever their sexuality.

Hmmmmmm! This is cerebral disorder and sclerosis ,it is the confusion of the mind.
For me it is a psychological thing, the problem from the brain.
It is also a spiritual thing, highly spiritual, such individual are simply possessed by a demon that is responsible for such behavior.
I want to please beg us to simply pray for such persons we know around that one day God will deliver them and heal them.
A typical example is someone who is MAD, such individual will never know the state he/she is,they believe others are mad and they are sane.
I pray for everyone who has been possessed by such DEMON god will deliver them divinely and heal their mind in Jesus name.
