Russia have a very massive land mass that boarders china. There are chinese looking russians. Rural russians are beautiful people, humble and really hardworking. Once you start heading to moscow, you start running into those asshole who wake up on vodka and sleep on vodka.

They invite us to participate in movies and advertisements all the time. This is the kind of white man's land where any foreigner can be loved.

However, my post for today is about something different
I went on excursion to a paramilitary camp in Yakutsk, Russia, (coldest city in the world) to make some video documentaries about some vintage Russian tanks they have there. (I am still editing those documentaries)
.
However, at the end of my shooting (the main video) I decided to do something crazy. Walk up to Russian military (A general and a field soldier). I asked the Russian General to say hello to Nigeria and he gladly did it even with a salute!


I asked the soldier boy to say hello to my favourite Nairalander ( falseprophet1 ). (His funny false prophecies always make my day! One of the reasons why Nairaland is still so much fun for me ) He understands English to some extent, so he bursted out laughing realizing that someone's name is 'falseprophet'

I am hoping falseprophet1 will find this post. I added a few pictures of myself with some Russian girls I play table tennis with at my dormitory every night. Falseprophet1 please prophecy into my life abeg

Even though I am tilted a bit towards the West, I like the way you gave that guy a brain. Let every country decide their system of governance. If monarchy works, practise it. If one-man system works, stick to it. If party supremacy system like that of China solves your nation's challenges, die for it.

Nations should be allowed to run their lives as they want. The West should be more worried about the erosion, right in their backyard, of social, family and moral values and culture which distinguish humans from animals.

Democracy is not the key to good governance. Africa is a case study. It is impossible that African societies were as horribly administered as we see done by these so called modern democrats. Democracy looks like a curse all over Africa.

Compare Ghadaffi's 'dictatorial' Libya to the one the West imported. Even a fool will spot the marked difference.

I have a friend lecturing architecture in Russia. He really loves the place and says no racism. He also says jobs there pay very well.

I wager your assertion that racism is at a 0 level in Russia is an aberration. There is racism in Russia, even though one can favorably say that since Putin's current dispensation as Russian president, there has been less overt systemic racism against blacks in Russia than in the UK and America - this is based on firsthand experience from the three countries - but it wasn't so during his first dispensation and before him in general. The 15 years jail term that awaits any Russian that abuses any foreigner unjustly did the magic.

Those girls are yakutian and Chinese. Yakutians look like Chinese and remember I live in the international students dormitory. Most people in my dormitory are international students too.

I already have been admitted in a school in Petersburg for masters.
I am about turning down the offer because I think it will be difficult to study, work and pay up the balance of my school fee with the part time jobs.
Also the prospect of remaining in Russia after my studies is another angle I am thinking is not too favourable for foreign students.
