That's true, it's no surprise why former countries under the Soviet Union or the Warsaw pact hates Russia.

I am sorry to say he is telling all lies. I am from the Baltics and have had Russia as a neighbor all my life. And I can say first hand all the payment he's talking about are all terrible lies. As him for evidence on his own payment let's do the calculation. The payment structure is poor very poor because Russia operates a planned economy. The capitalism form of economy are only given to Putins cronnies in power, it's why you have the term oligarchs. Every foreign company in Russia is as a result of an oligarch opening the door for them.

A planned economy only favors the political class, it's why you see that there's always targets set by the state. Salary scale in Russia gets bad the farther away you move from european half of Russia such as st Petersburg, Moscow, Leningrad to Russia republic states.
