Good evening, please i need clarification on how to go about this issue. I am in the process of re applying for my Study permit and there is a problem. My husband and I are seperated and we were married TRADITIONALLY (bride price only). We weren't married in court or church so officially I have no documents regarding the marriage except Affidavit of change of name, news paper publication and declaration of marriage we did because i needed the document to support my international passport renewal I needed to do then.. Now to the main issue, we are in court for official divorce and i don't know how long the case will drag (we were seperated for almost 3 years). Can i apply as seperated? We have 3 kids (living with me but none is traveling with me for now (when I'm settled, I will come for them). Should I apply as divorced? I don't have document to back it up and I don't know how long before the judge will rule. If i apply as SEPERATED,, do I need to submit any documents to IRCC? Do I also need any document like spousal letter of consent from him?. |

Good evening house, I submitted my family application on the 14th of May and there has been no update since then. My hubby and I had done biometrics in February 2020 for a visit visa, although we were denied. They have only updated our biometrics number. How soon can I start tracking our application? Thank you |

Ayobamiaz: It is like #150k here in Ondo State |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 8:51pm On May 30, 2023 |
kobobay: I read where ppl go to other states to do this TCC. Is it even logically making sense? U reside and do your business in lag where you ought to pay tax and you go to sirs in Edo or Ondo to get TCC? How does that document even stand legally valid? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by kobobay(m): 9:03pm On May 30, 2023 |
zubizareta: It does not make sense. But you know how the state can make it difficult for people to get this done. Imagine you are asked to pay #350k |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 9:12pm On May 30, 2023 |
Canadahopeful23: You can apply as separated, then use the court filings (All the statements etc filed by your lawyer) as proof of your separation, you can also add an affidavit that will depose to the fact that you are separated and that the divorce case is ongoing. You will a consent letter from your ex husband if you are taking any of your kids abroad except the court grants you sole custody. |

i am trying to buy a ticket with delta airlines and i'm getting a limit exceeded error on my prepaid dollar card but the limit is clearly not exceeded who can help me |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 9:28pm On May 30, 2023 |
Haychay: If you are self sponsored, then you have to show the whole tuition fees. If you have a sponsor, then they will show at least 1 full year tuition and sources of income to generate funds for the remaining tuition fees. 1 Like |

Anyone going to University of Windsor January 2024? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Bobomaigida: 9:29pm On May 30, 2023 |
dbom: Some prepaid dollar cards have quarterly limits, confirm from your bank whether the limit has been exceeded, if not they will let you know what to do |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by abbey1986(m): 9:48pm On May 30, 2023 |
Only your bank can do that for you... Maybe there's a limit to how much you can spend at once on the card dbom: |

onos217:It is very possible sept slots are full. Modified I just checked and all your selected courses are closed for Sept 2023 intake and Jan 2024 intake. Infact, Applied Manufacturing Management - Automation Stream is closed for May 2024 intake. Try cancelling the others and applying for May 2024 intake.

We paid Agent to process our brother's admission and we now want to check/verify the status of the admission due to suspected foul play. Since we are not the EXISTING USERS of OCAS and if we decide to create a new account, will it be possible for us to still have access to our brother's school informations via his ID Number? |

Visitor visa. The husband can apply for Sowp, but it is better to do it after she arrives in Canada and can support the application with a letter of full-time enrolment and study permit. obinwanne: 1 Like 1 Share |

While some Vos, based on your presentation, can accept full funding with a monthly stipend as an acceptable proof of funds, others may not be as lenient as these scholarships, though available, is only accessible when you meet specific requirements. Temporary resident applications, such as a study permit, are based on the discretion of the visa officer handling an application. So, I recommend having a substantial amount and showing a reliable source of funds for the subsequent years. Suppose you don’t have additional funds or a sponsor, I strongly advise you to ask for a support letter from your Head of Department, or supervisor addressed to IRCC stating that they guarantee maximum financial support for tuition and living expenses and that you merit it. Furthermore, in your financial analysis, mention precisely what the scholarship cover, how much will be provided per period and when it will be disbursed. All the best. martins2021: 1 Like |
