Why jumping out of some of these stocks when it's the time for you to reap some gains?

Read the last time that you jumped out of Berger as well.

Maybe you need to be checking for 2nd opinion to be able to take informed decisions.......
I understood you're the CEO of your portfolio anyway.

Maami, I have held on to them for too long and they just refused to appreciate. Just tied down scarce funds. So I place Exit Price Target on some of them. Once the window is opened for light and fresh to come in, I breath in, then press the Exit button.

I saw a cloud
Then, suddenly
The rain came

In the euphoria
Of the rain,
Folks got carried away

With a bang,
The shaking came
And the bears were merciless

You registered another moniker. What is really driving you? Are you acting in the best interests of other members, or are you nursing selfish motives? I believe the latter is more likely.

The fact that you disguised yourself with another moniker to pass the same message suggests this. You clearly believe that the market will tank, but like a typical human, you cannot bear to watch events unfold naturally. You want to influence others to follow your assumptions.

You are not alone; I see this behavior all the time, both online and offline. If left to you, you would manually push all stocks to red. grin grin grin

While the All Share Index went up less than 3% from the beginning of the year till date.

NGX pension index went up by 16%.

Stocks in NGX pension index are liquid and must be consistent with dividend payments for at least 5 years.

NGX consumer goods index went up by 20%

While NGX banking index went up by 16% from year till date

This sounds like oracle but prophetutuocha always appear in a while for some years now.
Maybe oracle's second handle.
One thing with oracle is his bull never come, when you think the bull he predicted has come, he will tell you bear is coming and before you know it, it will come to reality.

I totally rely on this present Govt for things to change but removing fuel subsidy at this early stage is causing katakata in this market that has consolidated heavily for a rally.

All things being equal, If the market close neutral today, there is hope next week.

Guy if truly u changed moniker has someone rightly said, u don't need it pass your message this is SM the worst they will do is to insult you. Market is going back to pre-euphoria level first then tank later. Many will average down wella and all their motivational speakers saying they should buy the future of company will go hibernating. Just be watching. Those who are in uba now still thought it would go to 25 but at their naked eyes it will go back to 8 naira first before tanking further.

Am a pro BAT but market will still tank, crude is going to $60 to me and budget pegged at $75, with the naira devaluation banks will record high none performing loans of dollars backed loans. So all I see here that motivational speakers are doing is to tell their audience to buy at any price that this administrationbull will take it to their desired future prices. Be fearful when others are greedy and be greedy when others are fearful. If oil sinks to 2016 price then people go sell their properties to average down.

Today is the last day to Qualify for Cadbury dividend.

Should I hold on, or sell it off?

Is the price of Cadbury likely to crash badly after today?

...it depends on the price you bought it. If you bought at NGN 10 or below, that's a good entry & IF not pressed for money, you could possibly double/triple your money in months

You can learn a thing or two from Oracle. Once he makes his point,he doesn't come here every day talking about how his predictions must come to past. And I think that is why he is still respected here despite the fact that many will always disagree with him.
You have made your point jus allow mr market to prove you right or wrong.

The reasons you presented seem plausible at first glance, but if you look a little deeper, you will see that they are based on a number of assumptions that you are presenting as facts.

First, the Naira has already been devalued for a long time. The government has been subsidizing a select few players ever since. The #750 per dollar has already been factored into almost everything we buy.

Regarding crude oil, there are signs that it may crash, but there are also signs that it may rise.
