Guys, stop showing off and pretending to be what you're not. Let the lady you're taking out on a date know your financial capability. I always feel disgusted when I see guys insult ladies because of the amount of food they order on a date. As a lady, I have paid for meals for guys without insulting them. I don't ask guys to pay for my meal, but if a guy insists on paying for my meal, he does not have the right to insult me no matter how much food I buy. I will not form because he is paying, I will buy my usual.

There are some immature guys out there. Ladies, buy only what you can afford, don't be extravagant and always remember to bring enough money when you go on a date so that you can refund the money for your food when necessary. If this lady had enough money to refund him instantly, she would have been the one disgracing him and insulting him.

It mean that girl did not respect the guy at all because she would have been moderate and careful not to be seen in a bad light on the first date by that guy if she really respect him in the first place or give a damn about the relationship they may have later.

Since she have no qualms about acting shamelessly like an hungry vulture, i wouldn't blame the guy for disgracing her accordingly.

No one want to be put under pressure like that.

The guy is not immature .... there are people in life who hang their hat where their hand can't reach.... he is one of them. Why invite a date to an expensive eatery when you have shallow pockets? Was He expecting to pay Mama Put price? Note ... he is bitching about the price and not the amount of food she ate which tells me food is expensive at that joint. A date is not only the responsibility of the man because you are both interested in the relationship that may follow so you should both put your sincere effort to make it work not acting as if the man is a slave sent to serve you.

Women are not doing men a favour by going out on a date with men, your comment sound as if women are doing men a favour by going out with men.

If the woman was not interested in going out with the man she should have rejected him but once the woman accepted the date offer it mean she was interested and should at least put in effort if she have any respect for the man.

If the man is going to pay for the first date in a relationship they are both interested in the least minimum effort the woman can put in is to consume as moderately as possible out of respect for the man because the man is not plucking money from trees. It show you are really interested in making it work and not just out to consume like an hungry vulture.

If she won’t make any effort to show her sincerety and interest why should a man put up with it when there are thousands of women out there more hotter and well manner than her ?

The guy might have overreacted though if it was me i would have offered to split the bills and called it a day and if she rejected that i wouldn't show her any respect too.

It depends on your financial level actually but regardless of financial level, what the guy did was wrong. If he can't afford 12k, he should have told the lady instead of making a video and making a clown of himself.

Many ladies are parasites with entitlement mentality, I like to punish ladies with entitlement mentality. Why will you feel entitled to a money you didn't work for? That's a very bad character.

It can’t happen. The average guy will decline if he does not have back up money. Or will order for bottled water with the excuse that he’s not hungry. Even amongst guys, the average guy will let the person with the spending power do d orders not to talk of when on a date

I don’t think the food there is that expensive. If the minimum there was 12000, there wouldn’t have been this video. In the same place he ordered for food he didn’t eat 12000. She must have had more than an average order. At least they were on a date ‘I’ll have what he’s having’ never cause fight before. I want to buy food for you. I order for rice 400, meat 100. You suppose comport order for rice 300 meat 100 make we use 100 buy water. Instead you order for rice 500, meat 300 1 turkey 1 fish. Say make dem help you put salad beans and plantain on top. Collect five alive join. Your expenditure never dey near 12k so? Even in the same place where I am eating 500naira food.

It’s situations like this that happens more often than just eating in an expensive restaurant. If you are depending on the other person to pay, let the person order first then order for something similar or a little less. This will hardly ever cause issues.
