Is this rate more legit than Oanda converter? Because it seems this rate is a little less than Oanda.
Kindly advice.

I believe your question has been answered.

You will not get any answer to this question, cheap is relative, what is cheap to A, might be expensive to B.

What you need to do is browse the internet and search for the course you want to do, if your course is Data analytics, search for Colleges offering data analytics in Canada, that will help you. Then visit the pages of the schools to see their admission requirements and confirm if you meet them.

Okay. Thank you

Good morning people.
I am working in a government institution and I have an official email address. I want to know if applying for study permit with my official email give any credence to my application or I should just stick to my personal email. Thank you.

I believe your question has been answered.

Yes thank you. But it hasn't been updated since 16/06/2023.
Is it something to be worried about because honestly this FX has made POF totally useless and a whole lot has gone into it already.

Why would you do that? what if you move to another job or get terminated (God Forbid), how will you then be able to maintain correspondence with IRCC. A Reference letter from the ministry is enough to identify you as a staff there. They can confirm it if they have their doubts.

Sure, you can walk in and may or may not be attended to that same day, but you will atleast be given appointment to come on a closer day than if you book from home.

Sorry brother...It is really sad. Don't give up, just a little more work on the POF and you are there. It has affected everybody. Even some of us with outstanding applications are waiting with bated breath to see how they respond. School fees payment is also there waiting on one corner. It is well with us.

When did you pay?
Did you receive a receipt from flywire?
It takes a couple of business days for your institutions to receive payment from flywire.

Hi Bobomaigida and everyone with answers, sorry I couldn't quote you directly.

1. Please I need help with POF calculation for a family of five with the current exchange rate.

2. I'll be applying for January intake. When do you think is best to apply because the POF starts counting this week.

3. I am the main applicant. I have two lands (not house) in Lagos, My husband has a bungalow building where we currently live. Is this enough for home tie considering that we will be going with three kids? Please what are your kind suggestions?

Thank you for your anticipated response.

Hello T,
1. For a family of 5, you will need funds as shown below
Cost of Tuition = C$20,000
Living exp for PA = C$10,000
Living exp for Spouse = C$4,000
Accompanying kids = C$9,000
Flight Tickets = C$7,000
Miscellaneous =C$ 6,000
Total = C$56,000* 493 (Rate as at today) =N27,608,000
It can be more than this, but know that whatever funds you have, you have to show how you raised the funds ie sources of funds

2. If you are targeting January intake, then you should the admission by now, and the POF should have been in your account by now, or latest July ending. (You can use lump sum so long as you can explain the sources exhaustively.) While you are gathering other documents

3. In addition to the properties, you have to employ other things to use a home ties, your job that you will be coming back to? Your association memberships etc
