If anyone falls for UBA wash and rinse na to continue average down promax. They are all going back to the preset mode but prices would be managed to avoid free fall. Those that has liquidity power to push never come

Yes you are right, from the news that the media roles out these days, NSE is surely going to break new grounds.

I may buy UNITYBNK again if ... Honestly I follow such stocks with long spoon. I bought at .64k and sold @.94, bought again at N1 and sold above N1.30 today. I may or may not buy again oo.

Pls don't follow me, I'm only practicing what I've learnt for years

Probably the Access/Coronation cowboys now have it's time. I missed the boat while chasing other interests. There're other good insurance stocks with solid upwards potential. To me at the moment, Universal Insurance is not one of them.

Why We Advocate That Average Investors/Traders Should Learn Before Investing
It is strongly recommended that average investors/traders should acquire knowledge before considering investment opportunities in stocks, FOREX, commodities, and other financial asset. This will enable them to stay informed about the dynamics of the financial market.

For instance, let's focus on technical analysis:
With adequate education, individuals can understand that the financial market (PRICE) operates in cycles. These cycles consist of IMPULSE phases (represented by blue lines) and CORRECTIONS phases (represented by red lines), which complete one full cycle. In more complex cases, there may be multiple corrections such as CORRECTION1, CORRECTION2, and so on.

Regardless of the market, profitability occurs when the price is in the impulsive phase of the cycle. However, in order to make money, individuals must demonstrate patience to engage in the market during the "CORRECTIONS" phase.

The concept of "PUMP & DUMP" is not true. What occurs is that patient investors/traders take calculated risks during corrections and wait for the price to enter the impulsive wave. Once they have generated substantial profits, they then sell their positions to tangible cash. That is the period that uninformed people we hear about some people making money and they want to participate. And before they knew it, price has fallen into corrections.

Once again, it is essential for newcomers to the market to prioritize learning, particularly in the areas of fundamental and technical analysis.

A word is enough for the wise.

Below is an excerpt from my post about my linear regression model. wink
ositadima1:

The linear regression line, like any straight line equation, has a slope and an intercept. If we put these together, we get the equation U = 2.66 + 0.22*Z, where U is the UBA price and Z is the Zenith Bank price.

U = 2.66 + 0.22Z is a model describing the linear relationship of UBA and Zenith Bank.

If the factors that have held the correlation of UBA and Zenith Bank are still in place, then either UBA will drop below 10 or Zenith Bank will move above 37.

Based on yesterday's close, a UBA share price of 11.45 points to a Zenith Bank share price of 39.95, plus or minus 2.41. Alternatively, a Zenith Bank share price of 31.75 points to a UBA share price of 9.645, plus or minus 0.75.

On the other hand, UBA's trading volume over the past 10 days has been higher than the mean volume plus two standard deviations of its volume since 2020. In other words, UBA's 10-day volume has been impressively large. The On-Balance Volume (OBV) indicator shows no sign of a sell-off, meaning that the down days have not carried significant volume.

According to my fundamental analysis (FA), UBA still has 53% growth to achieve before reaching its fair value. Zenith Bank, on the other hand, has already surpassed my fair value of 28.5. UBA's last strong support/resistance level is around 8.82. To me, support and resistance are the same thing, depending on your perspective.

Therefore, I am receiving conflicting signals. Hopefully, UBA's future course of action will be revealed in the coming days/weeks.

I see that people like charts. I will post some later. wink grin grin

Technical analysis can be rubbished by socio-economic change, So, fundamental analysis should of necessity be a part of the bargain.

I became a happy investor with rest of mind when i discovered the advantages of investing in reliable dividend paying companies. Any of them can give you a huge capital appreciation at any given time. You don't need to care about price volatility as long aa the company retains it's fundamental values.
Big money men don't go about chasing many stocks around. Even if you have over #50b, about five stocks will do. Monitoring a very few number of stocks would be easy. I've learnt my lessons from over a decade of trading, most of which were bedevilled by non-chalant attitudes and absence fron the market. #Agbalowomeri
