Willie3040: It takes 21 to 45 days to process. Transfer the money into an account in a commercial bank and back up the lump sum with the microfinance bank account statement and provide valid explanations to back up everything. Then you are good. This is my thought and may be incorrect. |

Hello everyone, Please I need some guidance. I studied architecture for bsc but my work experience has been a bit diverse (marketing/sales, admin and archie as well) and spans over 7 years. I looking out for a course that pays well and guarantees employment. My major worry is this - can I change career to something in IT or healthcare? Will this affect my chances to get study visa if it's not related to my previous BSc? |

ShowYoung:Thanks so much for ur input bro, u are right, please how do I order for GCMS note, to know the main reasons even though time is not on my side as I am to resume September 5th this year and have August 15 as the deadline to submit visa approval to the school |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 6:34pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
Phamoxy: You really don't have time on your side. Heard you can order for free through This process This is actually for GCMS notes via CBSA - Go to Google, search ATIP - Pick the first option from the list of results - when the page opens, click on next - click/mark the privacy box and click continue - on the next page, select Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down - from the next drop-down, select foreign national outside of Canada - fill out your required information in the boxes below (Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls) - Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so - pick member of the public for the category that best describes you - Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records - click continue - on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down - select English in the next drop-down - select case files for the type of records - fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX) - in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg: Hello/Hi My name is SURNAME, First Second. I have applied for a study permit, my UCI is soso and my application number is soso, DOB. I would like to have the notes for my file - then click continue - also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here) - you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info - check the I certify box and click continue - you should receive a confirmation email from CBSA So u can actually order for ur note free of charg 5 Likes 3 Shares |

Biola67: I believe you are not doing the right thing by asking isolated questions. You should rather list out the documents you submitted to back up POF, how did you come about it (salary? Of how much monthly or business of like how much ROI), explanation of lump sum etc. What I mean is that you state out all you did so people can assist. No 2 applications are the same as they always say here. Package yours to the best possible way and hope for the best. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 6:38pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
JuneDey: You can pick a course currently related to what you are doing now to improve your chances of getting the Visa approval then afterwards u can change program to IT if your school will permit that. That's your best chance. 1 Like |

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation. You have giving me a good start really. I think I will explore the Diploma route but I would like to ask or seek advice if it will not be flagged for lack of progression if I'm going for diploma after having BSc. ShowYoung: |

Wow, congratulations to you and your family. Please is she going for Bsc all over again or 3rd year or diploma? You mentioned you removed your child, does this mean she's going alone? nnamdi346: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by nnamdi346: 9:50pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
Oyesquare10: She has BSC from Nigeria. She is going for a two-year diploma which is about $40,000 CAD, leading to RPN BSC is way too expensive, but leads to RN |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 3:46am On Jun 24, 2023 |
Aissy: You mean the whole total expenses as a lump sum? Oh yes. They will have to show source of income as it could easily be seen as demonstrative purpose except you can possibly back it up by paying 1 full year tuition and you will also need to explain in details your parents income and other assets they have that will warrant them selling off one asset to fund your education. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Aissy: 4:10am On Jun 24, 2023 |
Thank you, so the student has paid full first semester and the parent sold his a land that covers his full expenses. They have several properties , the father is a farmer and the mother is a business owner: so can he submit the gift of deed, the student bank statement, letter of support from his father and mother as well as their properties? zubizareta: |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 5:21am On Jun 24, 2023 |
Aissy: Yes. And put in his sop details of how those assets owned by his parents generate uninterrupted flow of income to the family so VO can see funding his education as a reasonable expenses. 1 Like |
