£845 per month if you are studying within London

£680 per month if you are studying outside London

You are expected to have your child's maintenance funds to cover for 9months in the UK

Hello

No you can't use an investment certificate

This is because the investor is not allowed to use the principal amount during the life of the investment or whatever product was offered.

The funds are not accessible to you and can't be used for your maintenance in the UK

Unless your bank clarifies otherwise

Please is it okay for me to use my account as the dependent to run POF for me and the children. The initial plan was to use MA's account for all of us but due to the sharp increase of oanda rate we plan to start running another POF in my account. I hope this is safe?

Hello

Your evidence of maintenance can be in your account and same for your children

Please note that your maintenance funds should be for your use in the UK

Any other arrangements is deceit and will attract a 10year ban when caught

If there are discrepancies please update your Uni so the information you provide during your visa application matches what you submitted during your admission application

This is wrong. You're converting from naira to pounds, not pounds to naira.

Exactly! We should always stroll down to the part we have the average buy and average sell rates, and use the buying rate in red box, which is 989.21; that's the amount in Naira to buy 1 pound.

If we are to sell our pounds and collect Naira, that's when the rate is 985.099.

In short, selling rate is in green box while buying rate is in red box below

Hello guys, standard service for a student visa (Tier 4) with biometrics captured on May 22nd at Ikeja TLS Centre is still pending. It's been more than a month already; this is taking too long. Pls anyone with a similar experience?

If you are going to upload the 'statement' where you have the CR and DR of the lumpsum, then be ready to explain the source of the money. If the money is indeed yours, I would advise you use your savings account. Some ECO may not apply evidential flexibility and you might not have a second chance to put things right.

Great work you guys are doing here.
I am trying to apply for a student visa(wife) and dependent (myself and our baby). Pof matures in 2 days but unfortunately £2k short of required pof. The pof is in wife’s name( main applicant) , I have about 3m scattered in 3 of my personal Acc which has bn there for abt 28 days. Is it advisable to submit 4 accounts, 1 from wife and the other 3 from myself. Or I should just start the pof all over again in one account ?
