Relax dafuturis, Conestoga only requested for $1,500 as tuition deposit and it's shows in your LOA also the deadline for your first semester fees. I'm also going to Conestoga Brantford campus and already requested for my medical but no luck to book for my medical yet. dafuturis: |

Officialarhnie:Thanks, have you gotten admission? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by zubizareta(m): 9:34am On Jul 18, 2023 |
tenderjunkie:Exactly what I think. If you check well, the so called mail was addressed to agents. But I will call customer care this morning and update the house here. |

zubizareta:So I just got off the phone with Egyptair customer care and they confirmed that's a pure lie. They said the only conditions they have for students are: Ensure your departure date is close to your resumption date. Evidence your school fees is paid and enrolled as a student. That's all. |

Vheekthur:Having a master's degree in accounting doesn't stop her from applying to colleges in Canada. She needs to convince the VO why a college postgraduate certificate suits her more. I know someone who has a master's in engineering and went ahead to do a postgraduate certificate in robotics |

zubizareta:I just tire. The rumour actually makes no sense. Nothing agents cannot do for money sha. And most people are driven by hearsay rather than facts. Thank you for confirming |

zubizareta:I called EgyptAir customer care in Abuja and I was told return ticket us compulsory when your visa is less than 2 years. Which is the location did you call? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tenderjunkie: 11:37am On Jul 18, 2023 |
Hopez456:Nothing concern airline concern your visa length. Even if you want to book a return ticket, you can choose to do so with any airline of your choice. The claim that Egyptair will make booking a return ticket with them compulsory is absolutely ridiculous. No airline has that authority! |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Hopez456(m): 11:46am On Jul 18, 2023 |
tenderjunkie:Thanks bro. I know it is illegal, but what can one do. I will however go their office soon |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by tenderjunkie: 11:50am On Jul 18, 2023 |
Hopez456:Apart from it being illegal, it has zero benefit to Egyptair. It will only chase away their potential customers to other airlines. That's the only reason to know it is false |

Gentlesoul3268:Thanks bro. I'm asking because Conestoga gave June 13th as deadline for first semester tuition payment, It's boldly written on my LOA, program start date is 5th September. I couldn't meet the said deadline because of Naira devaluation. So I decided to wait for my visa decision before paying it, to avoid having my funds stuck and closed to other plans. So am assuming they might see that and deny me or has it passed that stage? Since they've asked me to go for medicals and I have submitted it last night. I hope we're granted visa and we meet up in Conestoga. I have a link to help you book for your medical on a desirable date. Chat me on zero eight zero three one nine three seven three five one. |

Hopez456:Absolutely ridiculous! Does visa length apply? |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Hopez456(m): 12:49pm On Jul 18, 2023 |
tenderjunkie:They dodged this. They only said the news reaching them from their head office is that return ticket is compulsory for students |
