I want to know if your dependents passports were issued to you same time.

I have 4 dependents too, applied on 8th July 2023, had biometric on 10th and today 20th i just got TLS email that my passport is ready for collection.

I checked on the tracking system its true. But one thing is surprising to me, they didn't send email for any of my dependents, wife and 3 kids.

I am the main applicant.

I checked the on their tracking system, it was still on DMC received.

Though they stated that if we applied in group and no email has been sent for the rest of the applicants, I should hold on till I see their own email.

I don't understand the whole system at all I had plans of going there's tomorrow being Friday. But I want to hold on till next week if I didn't get any email by tomorrow for the dependents.

Please in your experience what could this mean? The suspense of not knowing can make one loose his/her mind.

While uploading documents in my CAS shield, I mistakenly uploaded my husband's (dependent) TB result in place of mine. Can I still delete it and upload my own? I hope this won't affect the collection of my CAS?

Have you submitted the CAS shield?
The university will enable you to upload the right document after checking the file you uploaded. Still, you can email the CAS shield dept and let them know you made a mistake.

Is any effect if my proof of funds show opening balance ? I mean the opening balnace and closing balance is the same amount

@the bolded can you attach the email and redact any personal information


Dependants standard wait time is 3weeks,they can arrive anytime,the priority for the MA to resume Uni

Once you provide the email where the bolded was stated we will advice more

Declare all your refusals

If you can't remember the exact date use an approximation, you could say around October 2015


You can summarise what the reason for the refusal was generally about and be honest to say you can't remember the exact wording

You don't need to upload refusal letters just extract the necessary information and include them in the relevant section

Tbh 2015 is not a long time to forget a visa application that was refused

My problem is that i have misplaced the refusal letters for canada but i still have the ones for Uk cos they are more recent.
How do i answer the 'have you been refused visa to any country before' question? how do i show that i have been refused visa and for what reasons. even dates i cant remember.

Assuming someone can't use the parents pof because of different surname and the person recently finish nysc last year. What can he do if decides to use his own account.

How can he prove the pof incase his queried about it.

1. Yes

2. His start date is September 2023,he is entitled to bring his dependant. This should be done well in advance and before he switches to graduate visa should be continue to do so

3. Euro, ensure you use the Oanda currency converter.

4. TB test expires in 6months, doing a TB test will depend on how soon you apply from the Netherlands, if it is less than 6months, you will need one, more than 6months not needed

The rest is fully your decision

Please help.

My husband just collected his CAS today and we are planning to apply for visa together next week when my (the dependant) POF will be matured, but another development came in.

I will have to be in Netherlands for a full sponsored master's program by end of August. So we are thinking my husband should just apply alone and I will be visiting him from Netherlands. My course is a year and his course is for two years. My plan is to be visiting him in the UK till I finish my program and join him permanently.

My question now is:
1. Is it possible to apply for uk dependant visa from the Netherlands as a Nigerian student?

2. If possible, can I apply next year or it must be this year, because of the ban?
Note: My husband admission is for September 2023 and the course RQF level 7.

3. When applying will I have to show POF in naira or Euro because the university will open an account for me there?

4. We did our TB test together earlier this month in Nigeria and I fill Nigeria as departure. Can I still use it or I have to do another TB test over there?

Please everyone, I would appreciate if you can assist with these questions.

It's a government sponsorship,and I have the letter ma'am.
The issue is that they said the official email address on that letter isn't accessible anymore.
I don't know if Ukvi would try to send them a mail.

What Government sponsorship is it without an email address?

Who has been your contact person with the said Government organisation?Speak to the person urgently

UKVI has intel for confirming Government sponsorship and I believe they have done what is needed

The NSF is the ECO giving you a chance to make it right


Provide the sponsorship letter and include a cover letter stating the details of whoever your contact person is (I doubt the ECO will accept it if it is different from the intel)

Unfortunately I don't see this going any other way

A consent letter is not needed if you are using your account

If the evidence of source of funds are requested through an NSF then you can provide your birth certificate, your father's bank statement and a copy of the debit transaction from him to you. A cover letter will be good to include also

That is if the ECO requests for it

Hello @Duchess90 here is the email from TLS stating if I used same email to apply for my dependents and I am yet to receive any email for each of my 4 dependents I should hang on till their own email drop before coming to collection centre.

This early morning they sent my BRP email.

What do you suggest?
