Chai!!
My own suspected introductory price is N60......
...but the rate at which people were packing it, it could be more than that, with a win-win merger plan for all the 3 Coys.
My is #80 .I believe sugar worth #40 And I expect it two sugar for one Dan food. That is why I was buying sugar. And anything above will be nice jara

Suddenly NB and Cadbury has started going up again. It is good I did not sell them off when it went down down to massive loss.

Any reason behind their turn around?

Eterna on full offer..

As can be seen in the screenshot below, first offer on the line being 75k has remained unchanged for over an hour, despite the fact that some units have been bought within the same period. How is that even possible?

Hello guys,

This is a little off topic. Please what agency can I copy in an email to my bank? I have been trying to get them to resolve an issue, and the last email I sent (which was strongly worded) they didn't acknowledge or respond to it.

I am not active on twitter and also due to privacy, would not be able to resort to social media. Thanks guys.

The number of issued shares of DANGFOODS will also be a significant factor as well as the exchange ratio.

So what do you advice if one is having Dangsugar or Nascon shares for now, should one wait for the merger to take place and see what Dangfoods will be listed before taking any action?

Eterna oil has been fallen as if it is the only company that has bad result. I don't really know why they filed that kind of result knowing fully well that market is not smiling at the moment. Abeg, who has the Information when their imported fuel will arrive Nigeria? At a time, transcorp filed bad result, but market didn't punish them, rather our market reward them, and the price was taken from 1.35 to #3.21 or there about. Recently, dangsugar had a bad result, but Mr market rewarded them. Look at ftn cocoa cruising like tomorrow no dey even with their bad result. News is key now and they should act very fast. grin grin grin

Dangote sugar result was not bad oOoOO. Increase in gross profit, operating profit, earnings before interest and tax, increase in gross margin, operating margin and net margin. It was the finance cost due to forex loss that led to a loss after tax. Loss after tax or profit after tax does not tell the whole story. Better to use normalized EPS for your valuation. A lot of banks are making huge profits due to forex gains, smart investors are not carried away by the one off windfall, always prudent to assume that next year's profitability will be lower

The forex loss rely affected the performance of Dangote Sugar.

Looking at the result the company would have done extremely well but for the finance cost

Revenue increased from N185 billion to N202 billion

Gross profit increased from N38 billion to N58 billion

Gross margin increased from 20.5% to 28.7%

Operating profit increased from N34 billion to N52 billion

Operating margin increased from 18.3% to 25.7%

Earnings Before Interest and Taxes increased from N37 billion to N65 billion

My summary of ĆŠangote Sugar H1 result

Hi Mcy,

What happens to the current Dangsugar shareholders, if that occurs? Will the name change to Dangfood or are you referring to an IPO for the Dangfood? Thanks.

yMcy56:

Sell?
If it's listed at 60, it will go on full bid......who will want to sell something going to N100 or more overtime?
Well, traders will be buying and selling, doing their usual biz anyway.

Sir, what will you now say about eterna oil? They had similar scenario. Their revenue increased, gross profit increased and operating profit increased, but Forex loss was too much due what madam mcy explained before.

You can buy stocks worth 2naira. Even 30 Kobo can buy shares .

With N50,000 you can own shares in all the listed companies in Nigeria.

The name will change to DANGFOODS and you'll be alloted the proportional shares based on the merger conversion and based on the stock you have (either Dangsugar, NASCON or DANGRICE.

So far, the total number of issued shares of Dangsugar + Nascon should be around 15B.....
I don't think DANGRICE can be that much......
So, total may not even be up to 20B........and BUAFOODS is around 18B.....

* I think Dangsugar is going to have majority say here, and I can suspect a 1:1 conversion, especially with both trailing each other behind in terms of share price.......I may be wrong though.

DANGRICE is going to be a booster...... we'll see how it'll all pans out anyway.
