budaatum:That's the vibe I am getting.. You are saying so many things but nothing of substance... |

sonmvayina:That's ok sonm. I expect to sound like a dummy to sonm since not everyone is capable of hearing or reading or finding substance especially if they rely on vibes instead of seeking answers. |

budaatum:That's the point.. You are not providing any(pissing everywhere) hold onto one(pissing in one place)..so people can know what you subscribe to(make them see the foam)... |

sonmvayina:People who want to know what I subscribe to would simply ask me instead of trying to decipher it from piss, sonm. The image below is for knownunknown to see you watching the piss instead of the human being pissing.

budaatum:What do you subscribe to? |
| Re: What Is The Purpose Of The Messiah? by budaatum: 1:53am On Sep 05, 2023 |
sonmvayina:Your question implies the assumption that one must subscribe to something. To wit, my Alma Mata. My subscription is long standing. Another way of considering is, what do I hold as my living philosophy. And that would be my learning. Or shall I say, a previous skill I once had to sit on my lazy ass and read books. I don't table d'hôte any one book holy above all others however. I a la carte instead, taking the best from all. Sonmvayina, what do you subscribe to? You might see the illogicality from my perspective. |

Are there any references to Jesus in the Hebrew Bible, or Old Testament? Of course, christians would like us to think so, but it seems like a STREEEETCH to me. Here’s why… Jesus fulfilled none of the major prophecies about the Messiah, who was supposed to: Free Israel from foreign domination. Bring all the Jewish exiles home. Rule Israel. Rule the world. Create world peace. Bring about universal worship of the biblical god. Obviously, Jesus did none of these things, not even close. Furthermore, the much “easier” prophecies that christians claim Jesus “fulfilled” are a very mixed bag. Some of the “fulfilled prophecies” claimed in the New Testament appear nowhere in the Old Testament and seem to have been made up. The bit about a “virgin” having a son was a mistranslation of the Hebrew word for a “young woman.” Furthermore, the young woman was already pregnant at the time of the prophecy, and the prophecy had nothing to do with the Messiah. The author of Matthew comically turned the mistranslation into a ludicrous “virgin birth” fairytale. The author of Matthew also misunderstood another prophecy and had Jesus ride into Jerusalem on a female donkey and her colt, like a circus act, when the prophecy meant just a colt. Even more laughably, the author of Matthew created a fake genealogy for Jesus that was made nonsensical when either he or a redactor added the “virgin birth” nonsense. Since Joseph was suddenly no longer Jesus’s father, the fake genealogy “proving” that Joseph and Jesus were descendants of King David didn’t “make a lick of sense,” as we say in the South. Then to top off the utter nonsense, the author of Matthew invented a ludicrous ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE. According to christian theology, the “suffering servant” of Isaiah was a prophecy about Jesus, but Isaiah explained multiple times that the suffering servant was the nation of Israel. The authors of the gospels were the Keystone Kops of religion. |
