Oh I understand better now. Thank you.
I just thought since they gave him 6 months, he can spend up to 6 months, but I have a better understanding now. I didn't want to be a reason his chances of reapplying in the future will get messed up.. I really appreciate it 🙏🏾
He can spend up to 5 months and provide small explanation on renewal or break this into 2 trips.

Hi guys,

I am currently a student in the uk. I would like to invite my sister for my graduation. But I will be sponsoring. How many months of statement of account is needed? Also can I use a bank account that is not from the UK but still under my name?

Cheers!

Good afternoon everyone. Please my sister applied for a dependent visa along with her child under the High Potential aindividual visa category on July 5, 2023 and biometrics was done on July 7,2023.

On July 12, 2023 she received a mail from the visa processing unit to submit additional documents which she did. Subsequently, she received an email on July 15, 2023 that a decision had been made, the applications were successful and we would be contacted by the visa application center in Nigeria.

On July 17, 2023, TLS contacted us via email to submit the passports for stamping. The passports were submitted on August 3,2023 which was still within the 28 days period for passport submission.

However, on August 17 ,2023 they both received another mail from UKVI that our application was successful again ( in the same form as the one we received earlier on July 17, 2023).

Since she submitted the passports, they are yet to get the passports stamped and returned, despite several calls and requests made to the UKVI, including complaint with a tracking number. She called again today and they said it wasn't escalated properly the first time and that it will be done again.

Can anyone advise on what to do please.

Good afternoon friends

Please have anyone here done "keep my passport" at TLS?

My passport is currently with UKVI since Sep 2 (for a visit visa) but I need it urgently for another VISA application to attend a programme in India.

How can I temporarily have my passport while UKVI is processing?

I will appreciate your suggestions or any experience

Thank you.
Hi! How were you able to go around this ? Did it work out ? I will appreciate your response urgently because I am in the same situation .

Please guys how do I tackle this decision

I have refused your application for a visit visa because I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of paragraph(s) 4.2 of Appendix V because:
• You state that you intend to come to the UK for a period of 4 days visiting friend.
• You state that you are employed with monthly income of NGN 300,000 (£314.33 rate at 1 = 952.55 @ www.oanda.com on 04/09/2023) and that you propose to spend £2,000 on your visit. Yu state that you have another income amounts to £5,011.65.
• I have considered all of the information you have submitted in support of your personal and financial circumstances.
• You state your trip to the UK will cost you £2,000. Your proposed expenditure equates to 6 times more than your monthly income. This degree of expenditure for your visit appears disproportionate to your current economic circumstances and leads me to doubt your stated intentions in seeking to visit the UK.
• You state that you have another income of £5,011.65 a year. However the supporting information you have provided does not demonstrate this income or the source of the stated income. I am therefore not satisfied that your circumstances are as stated.
• The bank document you have provided show large credits not commensurate with your documented income in the time leading up to your visa application. There is no explanation provided regarding the origin of these funds. I am not satisfied these funds are genuinely available for your use and have been provided to you for the sole purpose of obtaining an entry clearance for the UK.
• Given the above I am therefore not satisfied that you have demonstrated your circumstances are as declared, which leads me to doubt your intentions in travelling to the UK. I am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry for a purpose that is permitted under the visitor route and that you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Your application is therefore refused under paragraph V 4.2 (a), (c) and (e) of the immigration rules.

NEXT STEPS NRA v 1.0

Kindly help what can I do differently

Please who have travelled through cotonou of recent

At the boarder

Will the luggage’s be opened to check items,we intend coming with bag of food stuffs?

Please what are needed to cross the boarder,do we change Naira to cefa?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by hunee: 10:48am On Sep 06, 2023
Passing border is not childs play. I recall my experience last year on my road trip to Accra. It is a bit better now since the border is open, so activities are lesser on the road , i advise you travel on off peak days . In cotonou, not much of problem just find an hotel lodge. In seme, you can change naira to cfa

Careful of who you relate with and do conceal informations of your final destination to third parties. Just some security notes
