The fingerprint scanner of my infinix Note 10 Pro just suddenly stopped working.

It happened once some days ago. I restarted the phone and it was fine.

But today I Don restart tire, update tire, nothing.

It's no longer even showing up as part of the security lock options.

What could be the issue and is it solvable?

First you can't convert it to Andriod type... the preferable solution is to change the port since the phone parts isnt rampart in the market.. Have you tried another charger head?

I've tried different type c chargers but it only shows charging yet will not charge.
So are you saying that the charging port can be converted and if yes is it to the normal Android type c charging port or a USB charging port

It can't be converted... try looking for a 9v 2A charger head or you give an engineer to replace another type c charging port for you
