FESTAC NEW PCO IS REALLY WORKING HARD, FAST PRODUCTION OF BACKLOGS AND SOME1 IS HERE TALKING THRASH ABOUT BEING A DIY, WHEN THE NEW PCO HAS GIVING ORDER FOR ALL BACKLOGS TO BE PRODUCED, INSTEAD OF PRAISING THE NEW PCO FOR JOB WELL DONE FOR TREATING EVERY PASSPORT/APPLICANT THE SAME. HE DOESNT CARE IF U PAID 4OK, 45K, 65K OR DIY, HE TREAT EVERY PASSPORTS AND APPLICANTS THE SAME. HE MET BACKLOGS & NO BOOKLETS ISSUES WHEN HE WAS TRANSFERED TO FESTAC AND GAVE THEM ORDER FOR FAST PRODUCTION OF BACKLOGS. THE NEW PCO NA MAN HIM BE. IF NOT FOR THE NEW PCO DIY FOR WAIT IN VAIN. I BELIEVE HE IS A JEHOVAH WITNESS BECAUSE HE HAS CONSCIENCE UNLIKE THE OTHER CHRISTIANS & MUSLIMS.
This information is misleading. I am currently at the Festac office and was told they are yet to finish with March for those that are DIY.
The marching order given by the PCO seem to affect only those people who captured using agents. I was told they are currently clearing those of JUNE applicants but it is strictly those who did via various contacts.
I have been waiting to be allowed to see the PCO but those who can grant access will frustrate you and direct you to his minions who will insist there is nothing they can do and you should just wait.
One of the officers I spoke to said I should check back first week October.
Featac office is a total mess.
The PCO is a good man from all account but they will not allow you see him.

I got to Sagamu center around 8:47am this morning, I haven't printed my guarantor NIN and data page of guarantor. I went straight to computer center to print them; per page was #500.

Did you pickup your passport already?

Even at Alausa. People who captured April and May are yet to collect their passport. It is almost everywhere

I can, of course, assure you and anyone that Alausa Passport Office embraces DIY applicants than Osogbo Passport Office.

I heard that Alausa Passport Office's now producing April 2023 applicants' passports.

If you are still there, try this strategy someone posted here

"The officers there may not allow you initially but you should insist. They might even tell you to go and see the second in command (2/i/c PCO) in the other building because he's also very corrupt just like them. If you go there, first thing he will ask you is whether you are willing to fast track it.

If they refuse you seeing the PCO initially, you can go downstairs or outside, wait for say 30 minutes and go back to the PCO's office telling them that the 2/i/c directed you to him.

When you get in, explain your situation to him. He will help you."

This was exactly what happened to me when I went there on 28th of last month.

I will check back on 28th of this month.

I will appreciate if anyone can just give us exactly where the PCO office is located at the building as the official might direct to a wrong office.

I will surely be there on Thursday as DIY 1st of February yet to be ready

1)As a first timer, do I need NIN slip to get a passport?

4) I am based in Benin City, where do u suggest I do my registration for quick issuance (I mean a less congested center)

Thanks for you reply in advance sir.

I had somewhat similar experience at Alimosho yesterday 15/03/2023. Thanks to guys who gave the timely address to the center yesterday.
I got there past 1, and the security man asked for appointment slip. He also asked for my account officer, I told him had none. After gaining access into their compound, another guy asked for my appointment slip, and he told me to go inside. Nobody asked for financial inducement from me.
On getting into the main hall where people are sitted, ready to be captured, I saw the same man, Mr Bello. He asked me to go and get a white file outside, and a woman who run printing business was able to do everything for me. She sold white file to me, and perforated the file with my name written on it.
I gave the file back to Mr Bello, and checked everything, after that, he told me to go and sit down. I sat for hours before I was called for capturing. I did everything without hassle. One thing I note about Mr Bello is that, He doesn't take non sense. I saw him telling his colleagues that anyone that is not scheduled for a particular day should not come for capturing. Some of his colleagues are collecting money and doing sort of things for people.
Any time people are shouting and angry, he would come and douse the tension with sweet words. The man is such a great servant.

After my capturing on March 11th or so, I didn't go back there until today 12/9/2023. When I did my capturing in March, the collection date on the slip was 12/5/2023 but I didn't go, because I was out of Lagos. So, when I got there today, I was told to make photocopy of my collection slip, while the original remains with me. I was told to sit down outside under the tent, and after some minutes I was called. I got inside, thumbprint and write my details on the register. So, the collection date written on slip is the same as issue date on my passport.

Thank you all for timely information. The capturing center is Alimosho.... Alimosho is under Alausa

(1) Yes, you need a NIN slip.
(2) Officially 6 weeks. Unofficially 4 or 5 months. I know someone who had her enrolment at Alausa Passport Office, Ikeja in February 2023. Her passport was produced in June 2023. She chose the do-it-yourself (DIY) route, though.
(3) Would you rephrase this question so that it is clear, please?
(4) If you're in Lagos State I would have suggested Alausa Passport Office, Ikeja.

Let me help you out Abit, I don't kwn the passport office you use , but normally before capturing, they will have to verify ur documents, like an interview, asking you some questions, verifying with ur original documents, in doing so, they can correct all errors in your application file.
Then after capturing, they will tell you to looking at the monitor screen in front of you, you will have to take your time to check word by word if your name spelling is correct and your date of birth is also correct before submitting it to their data base.
Don't worry, you still have opportunity to correct the errors you made during the application process, the only way to be botherd is after capturing you realise the error and it had already been submitted.
Just stay calm, they application slip is just a receipt is just like an acknowledgement slip for payment for capturing and that will not be use to Capture your data on their data base.
Hope this illustration helps.

Amin ooh

The third question sir(the confusing one)

I mean the lodgement and issuance of card, are they done in the immigration office or the passport office. And I ask, abi bothe immigration and passport office are the same ni??

Again sir, who need the acknowledgement slip and if its for the first timer, who are in the position to seek it from?

Ogami sir, which is the fastest one between DIY and lodgment at the centre?
Re: Cost Of A Nigeria International Passport by tundesto(m): 9:19pm On Sep 12, 2023
Do you have idea of when those who did renewal in Ado Ekiti centre on July 13 will be produced? Tomorrow will make it two months I captured there.

Modified:
Today I went to the passport office. Surprising it has been produced since July 25 just 12 days after applying for reissue. It is noteworthy to say I didn't give anybody money. It was DIY. The only flaw is that the system will not update you via the tracker if passport has been produced. You only have to go and check.

ekitimanalways:

I can, of course, assure you and anyone that Alausa Passport Office embraces DIY applicants than Osogbo Passport Office.

I heard that Alausa Passport Office's now producing April 2023 applicants' passports.
