I don't blame some of you who talk carelessly here for reasons known to you. I am a teacher in SSSB and the person who told me is a principal. I said ask you principals. Have you asked your principal what he or she submitted, what did your principal tell you? It foolishness of you to think anyone here is anti new salary. Informations are giving for people to verify. The man told me that he signed and submitted old voucher instead of you to verify from your school principal, you are here talking as if your payment depends on our informations here. Is a pity how some of you reason. Use evidence counter a claim and not mere sympathy comments.

On public fora, once your information is legit and true, post and forget about proving to people with plenty explanation....... Once information you post is proven to regularly be true and accurate, people would know you bring true and accurate information. So, no matter how negative your new report may appear, people would know you are correct.

The truth of the matter is that what the Zonal Accounts Supervisor gives to Principals to sign is a copy of the nominal roll/salary voucher of the previous month. That's what I learnt in school yesterday when we heard that it was old salary voucher that our Principal signed. We were told that once the new promotion salary is paid, Ministry of Finance will send a copy of the new salary voucher to the Accounts Department of our Board and they will in turn send a copy to the Zonal Accounts Supervisors to be signed by Principals. I hope this calms down some nerves.

I'm not one of them o, I went to that area for renewal of my driver's license. I just observed the process and overheard some staff in the main stream civil service talking about it

I have no doubt in me that he has no other means of information about teachers except here and due to this his character exhibited here always, he also has no body to call or interact with. SCARY UPDATE

I was talking to a principal of a school today, he told me in confidence that we may likely not be paid the new salary this month. That they were asked to submit and sign the old voucher. I also talked with someone else at the office of the Head of service and he said same, that we may not considering we don't have a constituted board.
Pls who has a different information? Since then, my mood has not been the same.
If you are close to your own principal, can you confirm what is actually going on.

Anither colleague entered with BEd he was paid 112k he was formerly on level 8/4 now on 12/4
Some other colleagues did not receive any salary increment at all, so what exactly do you mean by

"Hmmm it looks like no one was short paid Oh, look at the top of your pay slip and see the type of salary scale where you were placed."

So according to you now, someone with BSc will earn higher than the one with BEd in the education sector?
And the teachers that didn't receive the new salary like us were not short paid? Think again.
