Lol. Stfu. What do you know? He was young and wild. He was gang affiliated. He did some stupid shit that many young people his age would do. His black panther roots also showed in his behavior.

How did his death cause death of thousands of people? Was 2pac the first to portray being a gangster in songs? Is he the originator of gangster rap? Were there no gang related killings in the west coast even before 2pac moved there? Open mouth waaaah!

How about we talk about how Biggie's foolishness got him killed by going to LA few months after 2pac was killed and freestyled on a radio show in LA that took shots at the late 2pac.

He never left LA alive!

That's why in his songs he hits on friends, jealously, he was the focal point of the east west coast feud. He took it to another level

All his life in deathrow were gangster. Even snoop in his own words lately was scared the level at which Pac was taken beef to. In some interview he mentioned he was already raising family but Pac got not to worry about. Video documentaries are everywhere on the net. Unprecedented gangsterism was one of the reason Dre left deathrow. He really rode on the back of the monster Suge Knight to his death.
tell me any incident where pac was gangster that you know and that he went out to do gangster stuff... Like pull a hit or ruff someone up or sell dope or anything besides record and studio gangster... The only time he did was at lasvagas and he died right after

If it is 2pac, how was he jealous by hitting on his friends?

Those of you still desperately trying to rewrite the narrative here are the confused lot. The whole world knows what happened. Investigative report after report has revealed that these were bunch of immature boys who didn't understand what life was really about and how to best use their talents. After those ones die finish, how come the others no continue in their steps? Dem bail almost immediately — abandon gangsta and all that went with it. Where are Pdiddy and co. today? Where is that other guy he was nurturing today? No be pastor him be now? Na those ones get a sense pass. undecided

leave the punkass. B4 Tupac, there was ice cube and NWA who were the originators of gangster rap screaming fúck the police. Ice cube is alive today because he later delved into movies. His first solo album caused a riot in America and it was this same pac that quell the crisis with keep ya head up. Compared to pac, biggie was the actual gangsta as all his songs is about guns, violence, sex, money, hoes. No message in his songs unlike Pac who was able to mix things up despite his controversial personality

My point exactly was there was gangsteriam even before tupac came to lime light the likes of Easy E in the late 80s. He just took it to a another whole level !!!!

The same Puff Daddy that none of the Artist that came under him grew or ended up well? I won't even be petty and bring up the various rumours that have plagued him since he burst on the scene as an A&R with Uptown Records under Andre Harrell (will never fault Puff on his Co-Prodution skills that gave us such great Albums from artist like Jodeci and Mary J etc but as a human being, many considered Puff the worst)

Same as Jay....ask Dame Dash and Kareem Biggs how they actually feel about Jay (even if he and Biggs have resolved their differences) ask other artist like DMX (RIP), Beanie Seagal and a host of others how they really feel about Jay as a person, or do we talk about Andre Young (Dr. DRE).

These guys are brilliant artist and have made billions for themselves while escaping the Immaturity of their youthful exuberance, but as Human beings, you will be hard pressed to find alot of people that really have good things to say about these guys beyond their musical contributions and business acunem.

Also none of the above (excluding Jay Z who actually was involved in Low Level drug dealing) were "Gangstas" in any which way...Sean Combs came from a middle class home and grew up in the Hamptons in New York, while Dr. Dre started off with the World Class Wreckin Crew (who were as far as being Gamgsta as you can imagine) and only ended up with NWA due to convincing the real "Gang Member" Eazy E to sponsor his Rap project which ended up being NWA.

I don't care about any of the rumors or stories you have to share regarding their personal lives. What I care about here are the established facts and the major one is that those boys, talented as they may have been, lived like fools and as such died like fools. They were not the talents we had back in the 90s but they sure showed the world that talent only means something when you equally know how to live. undecided

You are not making any sense whatsoever....Life and death are just a case of time and chance...some people die due to being at the wrong place at the wrong time while other get a second chance...Jay Z as a drug dealer found himself in situations that could have had him killed but he survived...but do you point out that he sold Crack which ruined alot of Black Lives and led to the degradation of the Black Community!? Before he went full circle into music. Or that fact alludes you?

Sean Combs duped alot of his artist to get to where he is, this led to the demise of a few like Black Rob, Craig Mack and co (the Rapper Shyne even copped a Plea Deal and spent years in prison to cover up for that coward)...but since he survived and is now a Billionaire we should hail the fact he rode on the back of others to achieve his status now right?

Please make sense!!

I say Youthful exuberance or foolishness at the time that it happened. Now many of us know better. Those dudes were fools. They had the opportunity to do so very well for themselves but they threw it all away for nothing. Many boys did back then too, with so many talented lives lost to guns or drugs back then. undecided
