Some key things to pay attention to includes
1. Physical exercise, make sure you exercise at least 4 times weekly, it can be walking, jogging, dancing, running, swimming, u can even do this in the comfort of your hime.
2. Pay attention to your food choices, eat lots of fruits vegetables, drink water, stay away from fizzy, sugary and all unhealthy drinks and food
3. Spiritual life: Know God for yourself and know that God does not make bad things so you are good enough

I've seen a little girl that I gave about 10years gap behaving so old because she's PHAT (portable phat sha).

She will sit at one location sending age mates and possibly older people messages because they thought she's older.

One day like that, I advised and abused her for that dirty character.

I'm not trying to body shame but if you are obese you should try loosing weight.
Note: Being obese doesn't mean you have to be fat like most Nigerians think. There are many stages of obesity like in the picture below.

Another thing is good body care; do you have pimple all over your face? Do you take fruit from time to time? God food and peace of can also make you look younger than your age.

I ain't saying you should go and steal. But if you are well to do, then pay attention to the things you eat and engage in active exercise and see your body and skin change for the better.

Otherwise just pay attention to exercise for now until and ignore body shamers.

It's not good or proper for one to be looking older than their age. I don't know if it is something that runs in your family, or if any of your parents is like that. It would have been better to see a picture of you, but I know that would be exposing your identity, which you won't like.

There are lots of natural remedies and masks people use to remain younger than their age, so you might have to explore them and see if they can work for you.

Dear OP,
When people give you respect as such, just condition your mind that its because of the maturity in your behaviour.
Eat good food, eat enough carbohydrate, protein and take fruits. Don't forget to add milk to your daily diet. Take enough water every day. Work out if you can. with these, you'd be happy with your self, your skin will glow, you'd look younger and most importantly, your self esteem which was once low will be so high. Trust me, these are things that worked for me. Till date, there's no single day that you won't find me in the gym. Eating good and working out has become my lifestyle.

I am in the same boat and at first, in my late twenties I felt bad about it but as time went by, I realised I could seal certain deals that a younger looking person wouldn't be able to. They always brush off my age as 'football age' so I always sit at table of no mean men.
I know the situation is different for a woman but just as someone advised above, do not act like the age range they have put you in and try to present the actual age within you, though not forcefully.
However, know that marriage is not the ultimate and try look for a hobby or a passion to distract yourself.
