narite:Absolutely spot on, Leadership, Leadership and Leadership is one of the Biggest challenge / challenges for African leaders, and to a large extent Followership, Leadership is a byproduct of Followership, look at the UAE, a small desert country of 10 million people, GDP is 498 billion dollars, citizens are about 1.5 million people, the rest are foreign workers and yet UAE is 1 trillion times better than Nigeria in virtually all strata of Leadership development, oil and gas in my opinion is a big curse on the country called Nigeria 5 Likes |

VeeVeeMyLuv:Is it the leaders that really need rehabilitation or the people? Sincerely, politicians or our so called leaders do not come from the sky, they come from the people, from our same society, most; if not all, attended our schools, go to our churches. We basically share the same religion and even the same ideology whether we realize it or not. They on the other hand are the lucky few who happened to be in a position where they could express this ideology and really influence things. We cannot produce what we do not have. It what we have that we can give. If we keep on having bad people ruling us, it simply because that is who we really are. We are bad people! If We keep producing greedy, clueless politicians, it simply means; We as a nation (the people) are clueless and greedy. This leaders are a clear reflection of us. Pointing to the leaders is like cutting the head of a tree, leaving it roots and hoping it won't grow back again. Until we begin to change; we the people, be it by adopting old cultural heritages, our belief systems or mentally forcefully conditioning our brains with new dogmas only until then will this country steer towards the right path. If not, we will continue to spiral downwards. 13 Likes |

Edukpo: It keeps going down, by the time most investors start chasing dollars, Naira will be a total mess . A dollar to #1005 is so sad, car dealers now abandoned their cargo because of FX palava, no usual booming traffics in Lagos, high dollar and subsidy removal make the country look so sick. 2 Likes 1 Share

Foodempire:They left wages at the same level despite all these Terrible hardship policies, that is why it is very hard. For gawd sake why will they subject Nigerians to pay same amount for fuel an advanced country like USA citizen pays when they know that Min wage is just $30?! Whyyyy? Our min & median wage supposed to be tending towards the million naira mark by now, but low and behold it is still in the thousands. Look at fed civil service for example you can't even use the salary to feed one mouth properly that is how pathetic, miserable and hopless the situation is! That's why every fund released for devt, civil servants embezzle it to feed and properly take care of themselves and their families. Even in private sector, same poor wages. Maybe they want to trim the overpopulation with hardship. But this is not the right way to do it. Why not come up with a law to compel people to marry one wife and sire one offspring only? 1 Like |

VeeVeeMyLuv: As long as you're not involving Kano and other Northern states, where Governors celebrate and spend state budget on mass weddings... There are many God forsaken places where people shouldn't even be marrying at all given the number of sick and homeless almajiris. Sometimes, I'm forced to believe that people who sell this one Nigerian dream have some sort of mental illness. There are over a billion reasons why the country will never function properly as a collective. I can understand the average criminal politician who needs northern votes and the votes of palliative-loving paupers, but how can a non-beneficiary of these menace remain adamant about the one Nigerian dream? 8 Likes |

davit: Most traffic you guys referred to are caused by the incompetent of the traffic warden, constructions of roads and bad roads combined but not as a result of a booming economy or influx of vehicles on the roads. People are cautious of wasting expensive resources, you will think twice about that journey before you embark on it now. 2 Likes |

Acidosis: Hehe... you are calling out the likes of ahib... The issue about birth rate is that it's directly linked with education and economic prosperity. The well off tend to have less kids. We're in a quagmire in certain parts, there's a growing number of out of school children. These are an increasing number of kids who are abused in every way possible. It's the reason I believe banditry might soon become impossible to contain with it's attendant economic harms. Hopefully, other regions can get insecurity under control before it spirals out. BTW, @ahib, when u return, please mention me so I can give you a list of schools in the Anambra that are in urgent need or rehabilitation. There are over 200k out of school kids in the SE which is unacceptable. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Acidosis:why worry about the North! Why not Abia that look misreable and anambra that produce crime infested citizens peddling drugs globally ? The North state of kano , kaduna , Zaria , Jos supercede the southern village states of abia , Ekiti, osun oyo , anambra bayelsa ebony enugu and all in terms of developement , modernity , commerce . Is Discussing Northern Nigeria part of treasury bills or you are just been silly . ALLOW THE NORTH DEAL WITH IT ISSUE don't open your dirty pig eating mouth to tell us how to live . ( we are 5000 years kingdoms ) if you want to marry 1 wife do it in abia if you don't want kids or want to become bobrisky so it in the east . If you want to peddle drugs and faje part do it within your locality! Cultist killed over 20 people in shagamu your will not address that! 1500 anambra indigines in prison you will not see that . 10000 ibo ladies are on Allen avenue doing prostution .turn a blind eye . 1000s of southern youths are doing 419 and Yahoo. jedisco:send the list to the skin bleaching E money ? it would be better . I already have hundreds of ibo kids attending schools in Northern Nigeria on very subsidize rate. they are in Bayero university,ABU , Uni jos uni Maid kaduna state university kano state university all enjoying the socialist and subsidize education the North provides . They travel all the way and pass Nusukka to attend ABU cos pricing and quality is guaranteed unlike the cult infested and Randy lecturing universities in the South filled with Sadist . In the new recently a student almost committed suicide cos 6 years after graduation from cult infested ekpoma still no result . |

Acidosis:Migration for sustainace is a religious duty .You will never understand the North. Jirah! Shoe shining and maiguard are legitimate work the Jobless southerner refused to do cos he want to be Adenuga over night. The trailers bring in beans , goats, cows ,milk , Millets , yams tomatos, carrots paper and low skill labourers . They come during the dry season earn some money move back to the North to invest in farm . A local maiguard would have a am.farm that can produce 30 bags of beans yearly × 60k = 1.8m ..150 k per month while the Ekiti boys it busy waiting for unavailable 30k teaching work . The trailers don't bring in prostitute , drug peddlers, fake goats fake tomatos and 419 crew unlike the marcoplo buses that the kano state govt had to relocate from sabon gari to a well monitored area . 2 Likes |

Acidosis: Haha.. I had to Google this... life no easy... our politicians need beating. I remember meeting one chap who was really interested in telling me how the SE is suffering. I agreed with him but told him if he was able to just two out of the almost 50 MDG points where his northern region supersedes that region, I'd pay his annual salary. Chap went to google and has never replied. The other told me the SE is poor thats why they eat garri. I told him to compare the cost of a bag of maize to a bag of garri. Chap choruses about Nigerian living where they see fit. I remember telling one in a northern state where I happen to own properties to count the schools, hotels, businesses around that are owned by same group he hates. It is this point that would daily rekindles their hate. The fact is most are stuck in a cycle of poverty and do not know any better same way with many Nigerians praising politicians for building roads. Nigeria needs improvement and not a d*ck measuring contest. Finally it amazes me how quickly the chap responds when I whistle its name. 8 Likes |
