E ku market ooooo…

Thank God we have finally cross $1 to N1000 (Naira)…

We are on our way to $1 to N1500…to N2000

By December, we will be $1 to N1500…

By Q2, 2024, we will be $1 to N1800/N2000

This is the renew hope…market is rallying LOL

This are the conditions necessary to attract capital and catapult Africa in general to a producing nation

This country will wallow in limbo if leadership dont change their mindset

Nigeria needs to find a way to attract big international players and allow them make their money but they will train our people and we would use the knowledge to develop the country......

The kind of leadership we currently have frown at development as it reduces their power base

International players watched what we did to the south africans and are extremely weary......Obj tried his best to attract the needed capital into telecoms, once it got a foothold lo and behold everybody turned economist with jingos of how they are cheating Nigerians, Buhari finally nailed it with his capital controls...... Is this where you want to risk your capital

Our biggest capitalist, the likes of Rabiu, Dangote and Elumelu dont have what it takes to deliver and keep an industrial sector running to world standards.... Their idea of industries are sweat shops where all Nigerians are casual workers

For Nigeria to develop, same autonomy granted to the likes of Rabiu should be granted to big players that want to invest in the country.........

While Asian countries embrace devaluation to keep their economies compititive. Africans are promising their citizens $1 to #1 and are not producing anything

You’re absolutely right. With the present leadership in Nigeria at the realm of power, we have no where to go. It will keep getting worst and doom. And no FDI or serious FPI will surely take us forward. We lack basic reasons (rule of law and justices) out of many reasons why the have to invest in Nigeria in my own opinion…

Simple, Just be sure to be at the AGM on 6 Nov and vote against the buyouts. Then you will see your investment tripped in just weeks. Thank God the location is Lagos.

The de-listing of shares is not even part of the agenda to be discussed or voted on in the notice of AGM. But I will definitely attend the AGM on Nov 6.

To me, I think it was a delibrate act. If it was mentioned, they will have more shareholders in attendance. As it is now, only those who has been following the court case would know what is happening. But let see what will happen on 6 November. I will surely be at Eko Hotels.

DANGOTE SUGAR NEEDS EXTRA GOOD NEWS TO PUSH PRICE HIGHER
Price breaks below short-term support on 28/09 and as such weakens the stock short-term outlook. DangSugar will require more positive news to carry the stock price above 67 and the liquidity above 72. A rejection at this level may cause the price to retest 52 or below.

This is not a post to sell the stock, as the sentiment remains very bullish with the upcoming merger, rather an alert for interested parties to prepare to add more to their portfolio or for new joiner to partake at a cheaper price.

PLAN YOUR TRADES AND TRADE YOUR PLANS
grin grin grin grin grin
If truely the merger will happen this year, then it may not taste 52 or below. However, given the time of the year we are, I doubt if the merger will still be concluded this year. We are almost in November, ( second half of October) yet no move, save for the announcement.

My people, please check your CSCS statement regularly to ensure your share bonuses have been allocated to you. I recently, notices my IBTC bonus declared about 3 years ago was not credited. I chased this up with First Registrars about two months now and just got confirmation from them that it has been credited. Nah to chase them uk now for dividends owned.

robobo:

really i dont understand how anyone that is holding this stock would sell it for less than 25 (half PBV)

Although it might look like the current performance would not be sustainable given that the major component ( revaluation) is one off but i beg to differ.

On a back of the envelope basis, my take is that UBA EPS going forward would sustain the upward of N8 per share going forward even without revaluation. The revaluation alone add over N800b to the bank asset which if invested in TB at average of 13% is over N100bn profit per year (without any cost) to the bank bottom line i.e. about 3.50 per share which if added to the normalised EPS (before revaluation) of about 4.5 per share would give about N8 per share going forward even without revaluation. Please note that this view goes beyond 2023 to as much as 3-4 years ahead (bar any major mishap from the management)

if 35% of the N8 per share is paid as dividend one would expect a dividend of at least N2.50 (both interim and final) which at N25 per share is a yield of at least 10%.

so i dont understand how any one would want to sell below N25, but to each mallam his kettle.

Selah
