Ifeanyi Okowa grin. Honestly, where is he? Man really took flight and went under after the elections. Like someone who was forced to do the little he even did.
emkz:
They spent time on social media.

Throughout the trial, Labour Party and PDP lawyers were discussing the matter on social media and mainstream media. We did not hear any of Tinubu or APC's lawyers speaking.

Labour Party filed a case and started making noise on social media instead of gathering evidence and arguing their petitions diligently at the tribunal. The tribunal was not sitting on social media.

Atiku went on a fishing expedition to Chicago State University when he realized he would lose at the tribunal. Instead of informing the tribunal he had new evidence, he kept fooling himself. When he got a depositon, he was excited and granted a press conference. He forgot to get the deposition notarized, stamped or even filed in the US District Court to give it a legal backing. He also forgot to amend his appeal and threw in evidence.

Did he ask the court to do anything with it?

Atiku, if you are reading, AVOID THE FOLLOWING PERSONS IMMEDIATELY:

(1) Dele Momodu; he misled you to grant World Press Conference and tweet nonsense without thinking.

(2) Timi Frank: he lied that Tinubu did not attend CSU and you ran with it a year later and ended up making a fool of yourself.

(3) Phrank Shaibu: he is a hungry media hypeman who only worked harder after you lost election.

(4) Daniel Bwala: he is confused.

(5) Don Pedro Obaseki: he was your head of research and should have advised you properly. He said Nigerians would have heart attck if they disvver what Tinubu was hiding. He based his research on voodoo and pseudo-science. Fire him.

(6) David Hundeyin: he is an unethical journalist and a journalist for hire. He built stories on conspiracies appealing only to headless people. You ran with it. he messed you up.

(7) Nduka Obaigbena: he is a businessman and was alleged to have taken funds belonging to his colleagues sometime in 2014. He returned some of the funds though. He was also banned from holding office in any company in the UK for financial misconduct. As an alleged media veteran, he ought to have advised you on the best way to use the media. Those press conferences broadcasted by Arise News were not necessary. The time should have been spent gathering much needed evidence and filing them properly.

(8 ) Paul Ibe: we never heard his voice until after you lost election. He doesnt believe in you.

(9) Dino Melaye: honourable mention.

(10) Ifeanyi Okowa: since you lost, he abandoned you.

(11) Peter Obi: he is an ingrate who cost you the election.

Atiku, your truest friend in this game is Senator Ben Obi. Hold him tight.

“I am not blaming the lawyers; that is the last thing I would do, but I am sorry to say that the lawyers, with due respect to them, should have done a better job in this regard.

Sir, blame them. It's their job and they fell short of giving excellent service to their clients. I guess the Supreme Court Judges knew their clients legal fees would keep mounting if the case drags longer so used their wisdom to stop those lawyers from further billing Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku by not spending more than 3 working days on the appeal. It was no brainer that the SC rescued Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku.

The mediocrity of the legal representation of both petitioners stinks to high heavens and gives an idea of how mediocrity would have been the order of the day if these petitioners could assemble this kind of mediocre legal team.

Haba!In one fell swoop they sank from being sore losers to mediocre sore losers. That of Alhaji Atiku shocked me more because I believe that someone who had wasted millions in USD for the failed CSU case can hire and pay the services of quality legal team unlike Mr Obi who no dey give shishi and can go for pro bono or cheap legal service providers.

I was the first to state here that, after I read the judgement of the brilliantly meticulous Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, I knew it's a death knell to the petition and I do not think that the Supreme Court will spend more than 3 working days to throw out the appeal of both Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku.

Here, a very Senior Legal practitioner is confirming what everyone saw. It was the lowest I have ever seen of a Presidential petition.

If I were Mr Obi and Alhaji Atiku, I will demand for a refund of my professional fees and/or report them to NBA Ethics and Disciplinary Committee and the Federal Consumer Protection Commission.

These people (Atiku & Obi) knew that they failed at polls, having contributed massively for their own downfall, but they deliberately resulted to blackmailing and name-calling to win public sympathy.

Everyone of us knew gangup against Tinubu in the chain of events leading to his electoral victory.

Re: Robert Clarke: Atiku, Obi’s Lawyers Didn’t Display Professionalism by lapintoz: 7:49am On Oct 27, 2023
Atiku flew in from Dubai to come and give a world press conference on CSU deposition document that was worthless. One of his lawyers, Kalu started foaming from the mouth calling Atiku the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Not knowing that its a lawyers scam to justify the millions of USD collected from Waziri Adamawa.

Atiku will quietly return to his abode in the UAE to continue to lick his wound. Waiting for the next maga that will scam him come 2027.

I hope baba won't go broke! Abi the looted funds reach Abacha level 😄😄😄

oz4real83:
The lawyers don't determine Atiku's actions during litigations, it is the prophecy of his marabouts who told him that he will become president whether by hook or crook according to OBJ, that matters . With that mindset, even if the best lawyers advise him, the advise will be wasted.

Just look at how so much resources were expended in amending the electoral law that states that election results should be transmitted via the irev in other for state RECs and party agents not to divert the election papers and thumbprint, that the judges have ruled that it is not mandatory to transmit.

If this is truly the law that you stated, why did none of Peter Obi's myriad SAN's quote it at the Tribunal?

Why did they instead wheel in large HDTV's to show the INEC chairman saying they will "use" IREV at the elections plus additionally bring in journalists as witnesses to confirm they heard the INEC chairman saying IREV will be "used" .

I am assuming that you are not as brilliant a mind, in a Law context at least, as Peter Obi's SAN's. Mind you, going by the nonsense those bunch of jokers did at both the Tribunal and Supreme court, their intelligence is now very open to question.

As it happens, IREV was still being used to "transmit" the results long after the more reliable paper based version had been used to "collate" them in order to declare the winner.

IREV wasn't used before these past elections and we have been okay as a country electing people without it.

Why has it suddenly become a democracy killer because it was available and not used?

Even if IREV results were admissible, blurred results as presented by Peter Obi's lawyers cannot be used to determine anything especially when clear hard copies of the images are available.

what happened to lp party agents results. if they are serious, they should have bring out those results, collate them to know their actual votes against inec results and tell the court how inec rigged them. but originally, pdp and lp did not win the election. only want a disqualification bcuz of tinubu unclear past records

Your vote out of 120 million registered voters is a drop in the ocean. Utterly inconsequential. Zero effect!

I have given up already. I will never ever vote in this country again. One day, we will have a president that only 200,000 people will elect.

There's no aura of winning, even from the winning party. True victory and justice stays in the air. This doesn't feel like winning at all.

Oga, Buhair and Tinubu are running Nigeria down. The number of people begging me for money on my inbox has drastically increased! People beg for petty cash! Pls, make una focus on the matter. At least Tinubu and Buhari are already doing 16 years! I hope they can fix Nigeria to at least have electricity throughout the nation, and make the country a better place.
From what Im seeing, the hunger is now worse! Since Obi and Atiku and mediocre, I hope Tinubu will not be worse becus the man seems confused at this moment.

That the judges said
OBI and ATIKU never presented a different results and figures contrary to what was tendered by INEC to the court.
So the court or INEC should manufactured one for them right....??

You cannot vote for your candidate in an election, they lose, then want to go your separate ways after.

Anyway thank your Owelle of Onitsha for fighting against the secession clause.

You don't know more than SAN who filles those petitions. Court dismisses cases of murder based on loopholes. Law is not 2+2=4. That is reason there are judges to interpret constitution. Judges have their bias too. I know Professor's from different ethnic group who are biased on their view of others. Our biases influence our judgement.
May I disagree. On the Law no other possibility exists asides a loss for the Petitioners. The judgment is freely available online : please read it. Judges decide matters based on evidence before them. Atiku presented no evidence on forgery and rigging before the court of first instance. His Lawyers later tried to do so before the Supreme Court but failed because the necessary conditions for doing so were lacking in their case to wit that the evidence was not available previously. It was all the while available! Justice is a two way traffic thing. Justice to Atiku and Obi as Petitioners and justice to Tinubu as Respondent. It would be unfair to Tinubu to now allow Atiku who slept on his right to present evidence to now do so after Tinubu has closed his case and judgment delivered. That, essentially is the reason Atiku and Obi case failed. Read the Judgment calmly, dispassionately and objectively. I’m no politician by the way. I’m a Lawyer.

The bolded wasn't the reason the Supreme Court Judgement gave it's verdict. The Supreme Court only complied with the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Election matters must be concluded within 180 days. It means from start to finish from the Lower Court to the Highest inclusive.

The final Judgement of the 2019 Presidential election was given on 30/10/2019.

Nothing concerns Supreme Court with wastage of funds on frivolous and nonsensical legal case. It's to deal with facts and not emotions.
