Caverton July to sept excellent
9 months profit down.

Won't be surprise to see the price up tomorrow because of July - sept performance

Of course good revenue recorded in the 9 months which is a positive outlook for 2024 continuing operations.

Indeed today's bull looks stronger than yesterday's, making October close with a nice bull run.
May the Tinubull run you talked about, be the story for November grin.

Sincerely speaking, I don't see what you see in caverton that attracts your attention to it. Firstly, I don't like their line of business; airline business/maintenance is not profitable in Nigeria. Beside the fact that it is capital intensive, the business is dependent on a lot of factors like forex to import crucial parts for aircraft maintenance, amidst other factors. I am yet to see any business in the aviation sector churning gains (Beside those rendering services like NAHCO). Rather, it is always stories of losses and closures; From the days of Alubarika Air, ADC airline, Chanchangi, Bellview and Bristow helicopter to the present days, Even, most of the present airlines that we have are all wallowing in debt.

Secondly, Caverton is like a family business (The Makanjuolas') and I don't have much confidence in their management style. To me, even Jegede's Japaul has the potentials to survive the future than Caverton. I rest my case for now.

Above is my personal opinion please.

At this point, i dont know what to think of this caverton hype. seems like MH.
their result is still wack. alot has to stabilize in their industry to stand strong again.

I agree with your submission on opex being a major challenge for airlines.
However, I think bristow not sure if you meant bristol is well managed compared to carverton perhaps because they are an international company. Carverton can't even service it's existing obligation to some of its customers because they have very few aircraft. These I have seen first hand. I wonder how bristow is able to manage their operations amidst the FX wahala.

UBA and FBN have significant offshore presence and hence earn foreign exchange via interest rates abroad. FBN likely to outpace UBA’S foreign exchange earnings by about 20%.

Are you saying FBNH understated FX gains. That more gains will be delivered in FBNH full year than currently reported in Q3. While UBA already reported the all z gains and by full year FBNH FX gains will exceed UBA gains.

If so that could explain the rally in FBNH, as some vested money bags mop up available offers since they know the value. This will make them also mop the rights in full.
