10k for a full-time teaching job is too small.
How does it even work for you? Does that even cover your daily upkeep and related expenses?

Or is it a kind of part time job? Not just adding up for me.

Nonetheless, don't count on being paid your balance if you continue accepting that. Best thing is to look for something worthwhile

Hmm it's well,that how I applied for a teaching job for this new term and the woman was telling me 5k a month for a combine class (Primary 1and 2). Telling me I have to teach almost all subject except Maths 😭😭😭. "I NO GREE WORK AGAIN OHH"

Then the next salary came in today , still 5k, I'm so angry and tired at this point... Alot of debt on my head .... 5k can't even clear them , not to talk of what I will use to feed myself.... This is unfair..... I plan to resign... But at this moment, I don't know where I will see money to feed .....

I'm sure you're good and passionate in teaching. Why don't you start home tutoring. It pays far more than all these bloodsucking schools. I get 120k a month just for teaching between 3:30-7:30pm.

There should be a government agency that employees can report this abusive situation to.

Oh! Depending on his staff strength but such school shouldn't have more than 5 or max 6 staffs. I don't see why he shouldn't be able to pay the #10k per month without issues.

His annual dues and all expenses can still be catered for even if 50% of pupils fails to pay per term ( 3months). He should be able to get loan to pay his staffs. They are the ones doing the job.

The bad thing about this country is giving License or approval for people who can't manage a toilet to manage enterprise.

Even at #15k per student for at 50% turnout, he should be a good manager and also allow you guys to engage in extra lessons to boost yourself. Low wagers are entitled to tips even in developed countries.


Wish you the best. Try to collect your money and look for better options in area you might be overlooking thinking are meant for people with lower education. You will be surprised at what you will be making. However, before you leave there, make sure you collect all your dues.

In this time and age, people are barely getting by. Lord have mercy.

He is not worth the 10k for sure. Think about it, them pay you half of your 10k salary and you came to create a thread on social media for it.
