Seems that in the Nigerian Stock Exchange generally and on this thread, those who did sciences far outnumber those who studied commercial and financial courses.
I am wondering how come.

The number of bank CEOs with first degrees in science and engineering is high, although they later did post graduate studies in management, business and finance

Aha! I see the confusion. To clarify, osmosis is from lower solute concentration to higher solute concentration, which is the same as higher solvent concentration to lower solvent concentration.

Case closed cool

Does it make sense to talk about "solvent concentration" at all? Isn't it a solute that concentrate in a solvent?

Same question I have been asking.

In your initial answer, you mentioned low and high concentration. When you do that, it's important to be clear whether you are referring to the concentration of the solvent or the solute. It is good to be precise.

If you are referring to the solute, then you are right. I was referring to the solvent. My definition of osmosis is correct, as I have checked. Yours too, if you are referring to the solute concentration. grin

Concentration is defined as the relative quantity of solute present in a fixed or standard quantity of solvent. So concentration is normally used in reference to solvent.

Lol, if that is the case, why are you arguing again? Seriously, concentration is not normally used in reference to solvent. Instead, it is used in reference to the solution as a whole. However, "high concentration" is used to describe a solution that has a large amount of solute. In that sense, saying that water moves from low concentration to high concentration is correct. You were right. wink

I was looking at it from the perspective of solvent concentration. Solvent moves from where its concentration (solvent with respect to solute) is higher to where it is lower. cheesy

Correct advice.
Nestle will likely drop severely in the next 3 months due to the bad results.

First, most of the volume was traded above 1070 from 2020 to date, with only 18.6% traded at a price below that. I think this will give the stock a strong cushion, as selling pressure will be low. Many who bought the stock after 2020 would sell at a loss if they sold now.

I see volumes at 1200 and 1400, as these are the prices where some of these investors may choose to exit if need be. The huge loss, similar to Dangsugar's, is mostly due to exchange problems and not to the company's core activities. Astute investors should be able to see through this.

In my opinion, around 1000 is a good price to buy, current price is also ok. I mentioned 1000 because there is strong support at that level. If the stock plunges below 1000, you should consider selling. cheesy

Nestle is not a volatile or liquid stock.
While we agree the price will fall more , it may take up to six months to get nestle at bargain price. He has his money at hand now.why wait for Nestle when there are many stocks to give him instant returns......??

A small homework away from Biology. The intentions of the big traders or smart money are embedded in large volumes and the immediate follow through volumes . Note the prices circled in blue . You will discover something very fascinating. Below is the chart of recent historical volumes of UBA. 10 marks. smiley wink
