Exactly. Gosh . Dilemma

Won't this be contrary to his visa terms? He will be in effect "working" full time with 2 different employers

Instead giving your Pastor tithe to buy Gucci, consider donating instead to people like Mr Beast who actually changes lives in real time

I love video like this, giving to communities that changes lives. Southern and Eastern Africa receive more international aids than any other part of Africa. Those guys are doing something no Govt or religious origination are willing to do without collecting first from the poor.

Why did them jump Nigeria and went to Cameroon though?

Credit to them though, great job.

Hi Fam good morning,
I did not come to brag about what am about to type , I have had my own fair share of many unsuccessful job applications and interviews.
With constant practice and prayers I was now fortunate to get 3 offers presently and am now in a dilemma of what to choose, and I beg experienced members to help me come with a decision. The offers are
1.Operational support grade Prison
2.Health Support worker for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services
3.Trainee Clinical Support worker

Now am a wife and mum and I want to choose a job that I will be happy with in the long run that will also afford me time for my children and my other responsibilities. Please those that have had experiences in the above should help me throw more light so I don't choose the one I will regret and leave a better option.

Thank you all for your contributions.

Avoid that number 2, it is really tiring. I work in a mental health, working with kids is very delicate, any gbese fit sup. The last is better.

Hmmm ...thank you so much for this, but do they issue CoS?

koonbey:

Low pay compared to private sector in terms of responsibilities. For instance, as a team lead you might be earning the salary that would be offered for just an IC role in the private sector.

That being said it’s usually not as fast paced and demanding as private sector. The biggest benefit is the benefits though - the pension contribution is huge compared to most private sector companies and there’s job security and generous leave allowances as someone has said.

Peerielass:

Salary might not be that great compared to the private sector but they offer defined benefit pension scheme and a very healthy 27% employer contribution. There’s also job security and a generous annual leave allowance.

This is the wrong thread to post this but where are you based? You might need to transfer the pounds to the bank account stated under your university on Flywire or pay using the equivalent in Naira (usually at black market rate).

I have tried this particular link before, I could not find any part on how to switch from BG, rather what it shows is how to switch to BG. Or is there a particular way I need to navigate the link?

My understanding of how switching works is that you have to register with the current supplier first (in this case BG) as a customer then inform the switching team of your preferred supplier that you want to switch to them. They will take care of the rest

Its not, its just an excuse for incompetency and corruption. I guess International aid workers know that ''Nigeria is poor because we are rich'' so they rather focus on countries with real need for help

Not really, you don't need to inform your current supplier, your new supplier will do everything but your current supplier is likely to contact you trying to offer you a better deal to stay.

You need to be a customer with British gas before you can switch. That's how it works.

I did not state the he should inform his current supplier of the intention to switch. I mentioned he should register as a customer with the current supplier I.e british gas first then inform the switching team of his preferred supplier who will do the rest (the switching)

Our political class inability to fix power since 1999, resurrect our health sector, rehabilitate all our roads, stabilise our economy, invest properly in education, provide jobs etc etc etc

It beggers belief what have they been doing since 1999 (apart from enriching their generations unborn).......

If you've ever been to Abeokuta, you'll be so angry ehn

A Governor doesn't even live in the state capital, has ensured that the state has the worst road network in the country and yet he still got elected for a 2nd term. Like, how do you elect a complete failure and disaster twice? 😂

Same people will goto church and start disturbing God for miracles when the problem is literally something they can fix

I honestly do not know. It's likely that they do for more senior/specialist roles but probably not for general admin-type ones, much like the NHS.
