The OS should be about 253 million units.

yMcy56:

You're right. My mistake.
Picked another figure instead...
So, It's not even up to 200M units.....190M (additional listed Rights Issue included)

They listed 190 million shares and did a Rights Issue of 1 for 3 to bring total OS to 253.333 million units.

Ok. Thanks for the update.

The Koko still remains that the OS is small compared to others with billion OS.

With OS that tiny, any positive news about the company will spark of a protracted 10% daily gain. Imagine Mutual Benefits still doing oscillatory motion a week after releasing a fantastic result. Large OS is a red flag for trading.

Then it is becoming a Medical Conglomerate. Production should be a new development, I have been patronizing their service for more than 10 years.

Just getting to know about pharmaceutical production.

With EPS of N1.30k in 2022, I don't understand why it was listed at almost N3.00.

Probably by 2023, we will start seeing the contribution of the production business in the financial performance of the company

Mecure started with pharma production long ago , late 90s or early 2000s , others were after , diversification

It is raining Naira in some headquarters in Nigeria, over the last 9 months to Sept 2023. Pre-tax profits*:

Zenith Bank: N505 billion

UBA: N502.1 billion

GTBank’s GTCO: N433.2 billion

Dangote Cement: N404.9 billion

Access Bank’s Access Holdings: N294.4 billion

First Bank’s FBNH: N270.3 billion

MTN Nigeria: N232.5 billion.

UBA remains the most geographical diversified banking institution in Nigeria and the results are showing the power of that playbook. Indeed, operating in about 20 African countries with shops in Dubai, New York, Paris and London, UBA has a good spot. Zenith Bank has used scale to become the leader. Of course, though it is no more the rainmaker, GTBank* continues to mint money.

For banks, 2023 is the best year yet. Do not expect these numbers in 2024; the FX gains will calibrate out by then. Of course, these numbers are relatively small, but considering the size of Nigeria's economy, the banks are adequately capturing value - and that is why investors are cheering.

I don't think so.Insurance stocks move together. There is no much supply in MB to bring the price down if you take a closer look. The time is yet to come. The ones with small Os and good results are still crawling. For, me I am always greedy when others are fearful.I have mutual benefits and will load it more than Japaul.I am very bullish in the insurance sector. The sector is yet to be greeted by the bull. When it happens, it gonna be a bumper harvest.Just align yourself in the ones with good results whether huge Os or not.Except there is a general bears, next year is a year for insurance stocks.Let them continue producing good numbers and be justified by the market.

Banks should do well in 2024. Likely at a reduced pace compared to 2023 in terms of % share price rises. However this is based on many factors. Especially that of not having a global recession. Should there be a global recession there is a high risk the most internationally exposed banks will suffer the most. Also how Nigeria's economy recovers will play a lot in how the banks perform. Should the economy perform well to attract FDI then banks will be the first to benefit as they still have very attractive valuations.

It is well.

For those in the bus, just know when to be alighting when it's getting to your bus-stop......
JAPAUL will likely touch 2/2.20 from the look of things, and based on the newsletter.........don't take my words for it.

Will get to Close to N3. I actually had the Information last week Thursday but not a fans of Japauloil

You should have just dropped it here back then at least for those of us who are fair weather fans of Japaul. With your revelation I would have loaded twice as much as I did last week when it retraced to 1.19.

Thanks for the disclosure though. We appreciate your contribution on this forum. But then, you seems to have forgotten that you are our eyes at the customstreet shocked Therefore and henceforth grin, always drop the hint for us, even though you are not a fan, air conditioner or spectator of the stock, you can always put a caveat then. Some of us here love risk and has earmarked a certain percentage of our portfolio to it, wether it is tantalizer, Daar Comm, unity bank, afromedia, pharmadeko, TIP, Uniondicon, Aso Savings etc, just drop the hint. Thanks and have a nice day at work.

Yes. Even more solid than Transcorp if I could say.
The listing price of 244.88 looks high but in actual fact, it's not high if we considered the OS.

It's just like AIRTEL and MTN. OS is the determining factor in the share price, if not, there wouldnt have been huge difference btw the share prices.

One positive news is what is needed to catapult it to the 300+ region. lipsrsealed

What truly matters is generating profits. Throughout the world, it's not the self-proclaimed "I told you so" that makes headlines but the remarkable accomplishment of multiplying one's wealth. What's your percentage return this year? Some individuals have discreetly doubled their money this year alone. Are you among them? Sharing investment tips is commendable, but excessive bragging is not. grin
