An insurance company would simply void any insurance policy, when a claim's foundation get K leg ..... A risk, I would not advice anybody to take ....

What about insurance companies that don't stress on u providing ur license number? There's an intentional loophole in the car insurance system and it's appreciated in a way...

They're making it easier for you to lie.

They don't care, as long as they're collecting their premiums.

It's the day an accident occurs that they'll ask for the documentation and evidence of everything you've said. I hope you know there are people in those companies (claims adjusters) whose roles (and partly their compensation) is tied to denying and reducing the value of as many claims as possible.

Even innocent mistakes like forgetting to update the policy when you change address or job etc can affect coverage. How much more outright lies?

As has been said above, those people doing that should just drive very carefully as if they don't have insurance, because they really don't.

Those people are only "dashing" the insurance company money. They are not insured since the insurance company will not payout due to false/inaccurate information. They should hope not to have an accident.

I think this is dicey, a third party was paid by an insurance company...

I can't agree less though. Driving with extra care is the way to go...

Is there any experienced Project Manager or a highly experienced Project Support Officer here, please?

The candidate needs to be SECURITY CLEARED and has good demonstrable experience.

A recruiter friend/colleague of mine has a couple of vacancies to fill. The gig is a contract role, and pays ~£450 per day (INSIDE IR-35).

Please note that the most important ‘qualification’ is SECURITY CLEARANCE. Followed by good experience.

Hit me up if you are up for some contract gig.

What industry?

Good day to you all.
I am at the verge of buying a property through Mortgage. I am less than 2 years in the UK on skilled worker visa and wife is just 8 months in the UK.

I have seen a house of interest and offer has been accepted. I got a Mortgage in principle from a small lender through a broker who requested for 15%deposit as a result of my status of not yet lived upto 2 years in the UK and accepted my wife to be included in the application.
My concern is this, the lender is requesting for 2 years fixed rate of 7.4%.
Please advise.
Thank you

Let's wait for others to contribute but I think you should go ahead and apply for the visa with the expired passport than going out of status. Worse case scenario, they write back and ask you to send your new passport

The Visa came out today ! Thanks. They didn’t say nothing about the expired passport but i just had strong support documents and proofs that’s it.

This one choke o considering u are even putting down 15% and it is only a 2 year fix. I think is high. from my research so far, (I am also looking at viewing properties soon) most fixed rates are currently between high side of 5% and Low side of 6%. Just look at the fine prints as the follow on payments after the initial 2 years might be crazy.

100% correct. In December 2020, my car aquaplaned on black ice and I crashed it at a roundabout. My car insurance took a look at my claim and decided to void my insurance because I didn't declare to them that the car had after-market 23'' alloy wheels. I paid for the repairs from my own pocket and took the car insurance company to the Ombudsman. A year later, the Ombudsman decided in my favour and told them to 'unvoid' the car insurance, and refund me every penny because there was no way a normal car user will know that 23'' wheels isn't factory fitted by the car manufacturers themselves.

Since then, I have had to declare the alloy wheels every time i renew my car insurance. See pictures of the car just after the crash on the snowy rainy morning.
