And muslims, and tradionalists. Keep your gods to yourselves.

These gods have brought more problems to Nigeria than solutions - all of them.

Well even the UK you so praised have these supposed gods/God you hate too.

The developed countries like Russia and China are highly religious. The problem then probably remain not gods/God, but the delusioned humans like you maybe. Even the UK, the whole King believe in God....
Normally, most frustrated nigerians believe in blame games, and you are a Nigerian too so it's fine wink

Well, Nigerians and our religious obsession, una don see am nau

She has to obey the terms of her contract.

She can tell the patient I'll say a word for you in prayer before I go to sleep.

That is done privately and only She and her God knows what transpired.

They want to corrupt another country with religion as they have done Nigeria.
Were they not the ones who exported the same religion to Nigeria?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

I don’t understand why our people are still practicing these imported religions like Christianity and Islam today.

Pure foolishness.

Go and research and update the religion of your ancestors just like the Chinese and Indians did.

Your ancestors also believed in the Almighty.

Your ancestors INVENTED religion.

How has the parent become the child?

Why must you copy other peoples’ belief system?

Why can’t you package yours like they did theirs?

Following other peoples’ religion is telling the world that you have no heritage worthy of elevation.

Very sad.
is it the religion where it is cheap and easy to harm another because you just dislike them or unhappy with their progress that you are recommending we embrace? A religion that would very well accept human and blood sacrifices to attain certain goals or desires that seem far from reach? analyze it logically and see if such a religion is good to practice

God will settle her in a wonderful way. People can say what they want to say because they are ignorant of divine matters. The God she represents will rise up for her and we shall hear her testimony very soon.

Does this mean evangelism is now outlawed in Britain? Soul winning, preaching one on one , street, sharing of banners , posters ,scripts, church invitations etc.

For a Nigerian to leave his /her country to go and share the gospel to someone in united Kingdom is somehow. Nigeria is a country with Muslim/ Muslim ticket, where Christians are continually murdered on very flimsy excuses, the first Lady is a pastor married to a Muslim. The first 10 top seats are occupied by Muslim except senate presidency.

Could it be if it was an American, Canadian, israeli , British or any other country where God values are that prayed for the Lady, the result would have been different.

@bolded would be 'Best practice' and NOT pray with your patient as it's not within the remit of nursing.

The job of a nurse is to CARE. Remember the 6 C's, the professional values of a nurse. cool

Yes best practice is to let the spiritual care department handle it.

But you can pray with a patient who requested it and share the same faith as you. There’s nothing against that in nursing care.

You’re not going to ask them to pray for them. You are to ask them if they want a spiritual consult. If yes, Place the consult. But if they then ask you specifically to pray with them, you can say yes or of course say no if you’re not interested

I don’t know why this is an argument.

Deportation is unnecessarily severe. What happened to stopping at dismissal? There's more to this story than meets the eyes.

It is a message. Keep that mess in Nigeria. Also she is there because of the job. Hired and given papers because of the job. Once she has lost the job her residency is null and void.

I don’t think this was her only time. There’s something known as warning in work places. If that warning isn’t adhered then comes dismissal.

What if I ask for permission and was obliged.

Like saying, 'Would you like me to pray for you?' And the patient says 'YES'

Would that be an imposition?
Re: Nigerian Nurse Sacked & Deported From The UK For Praying For Patient by RepoMan007: 8:29pm On Nov 30, 2023
It should be up to the patient to reject her prayers and not the system.
In the book "He came to set the captives free" the Californian nurse always prayed for patients.

Yes she will not only be sacked, she can be sued by the family of the patient too.
Our people too dey overdo religious things, I was complaining of persistent headaches the other day, and my Nigerian friends here and telling me to pray and that it could be as a result of my to Naija during summer, I just jejely visited the hospital, low and behold my blood pressure was high and was treated.
Imagine sitting at home praying?.
If that incident were to be in Naija, the organization and the employer go done hear am from the church goers, how bad he and his company are.

Na wa for our people

This is why I hate religious sects, all their doings are wrapped in spirituality instead of reality... instead of to encourage a patient to take his or her drug these types of nurses who are religious fanatics will give patients the impression that "this your sickness or injury is spiritual, let's pray"!!!
As she is deported to Nigeria, she will say "there is no place like home"!!!

I don't know the problem of religion with Nigeria . na so o enter bus from Ibadan to osogbo ,a man just started prayer from Ibadan until when we reach asejire before I told him yo stop the prayer . I wanted yo receive a business call but the noise was too much . I waited until I discovered that the man is not ready to stop . when I told him that he should do quick that am waiting for a call ,a man and one useless Alfa nearly fight me that how can I tell him to stop. I told them he was disturbing me to make a serious call which needa urgent attention . How can someone be disturbing others with noise , be it Christians Muslims and traditional worshipers . only Lagos is curbing their noise pollution but other states nothing for them .
