Are a proof that Nigerian men can't stand independent women. They need people they can intimidate. People to bruise their ego on.

If the aforementioned women weren't independent, they would have been in their husbands' houses.

I spit on a gender who hates other gender's successes.

Can you see how the above monikers made mockery of Nigerian women? Asking if it's Akeke bread or sliced bread. Because for their minds no Nigerian woman deserves to be a breadwinner.
You're never going to win this gender war, just let it go smiley

a woman can't handle that responsibility of a bread winner, for your home will never have rest. undecided

She will see you as a useless piece of shiit and always boasting to people that she is the one taking care of everything that her husband is a useless man.

Every slight thing will irritate her on you undecided

As a man! The biggest mistake you will make in life is to marry a breadwinner woman undecided
Forget that stupid I love you I love rubbish, within 1yr of your marriage that's when you will be seeing things that your mouth won't spoke of in public.

Wealth is intoxicated when a woman is handling it!

I guess Omotola, Omoni Oboli, Ibukun Awosika, Sola Borha, late Dora Akunyili, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili and other married notable women are not 'independent' enough.

The thread is talking about women who feed their birth families and not women earning more than her man in a relationship.

a woman can be her own bread winner but when it comes to the natural order of things, she needs to submit to a man. a man by design "should be" the breadwinner, because women are not designed to lead, they are designed to follow. Anyone that finds themselves in leadership positions begin to look for a strong male dominant figure to lead them and if she has a man already in the picture who is not filling this role, she will never respect him , take him serious and will loath the floor he walks on. This is women nature. they are designed this way!

BadBradley:
it takes a special grace for a woman who is the breadwinner not to be toxic and useless.

Women generally cannot handle power and responsibility.
Here are some of the disadvantages of women with so much money.

* Her Family will not respect you even if you have your own money

* She will not seek your permission before making certain crucial and vital decisions

* Given how vulnerable and easily deceived women are, expect many idle men both family members, neighbours and friends to patronise her with false praises to obtain money grant or gift from her.

* Make no mistake, God made men to protect women not just with physical strength but with a key sense of caution, suspicion, and a bit of conservatism. The more money she has the less likely your control and protection will be.

* When she runs into trouble with her money either being duped by family members or friends, it becomes your responsibility to get it back or fight for her but not your responsibility to control how she spends the money.

* Remember making money takes time and effort, the more money she makes the less time she has at home and the less sex.

* Unlike men, when a woman comes into money she looks down on everyone including her husband except you're way richer than her.

you are rather missing the point, no man is afraid of an "independent" woman. the issue is women who have attained certain status come with loads of baggages and attitudes and its these attitude that men cannot stand. Imagine an Ini Edo saying she cannot be with a man she does not respect, now lets look at it deeper, why would she disrespect you in the first place? It means she does not hold you in high regard. What could be the cause of it? when you figure it out, let me know.

Only a man with nothing going for him will be upset by a woman with such status. She is the bread winner to her parent and siblings, not to me and our children. And provided this will not in anyway intrude or disbalance the support arrangement at home.

Why didn't you mention Alakija the tycoon, isn't she an independent woman? She is not an independent woman, she is an interdependent woman grin. Same for Prof Dora, Dr Ngozi Okonjo, etc

You mention people who can't bond with the opposite gender as your point of interest. Don't be delusional. If you are really independent you don't need a companion or husband, you need to stay alone that's what people who are independent do.

Interestingly, the ones I cited are interdependent woman grin women who function as a result of symbiotic relationship with the opposite gender.

You will be fine. grin

this is an interesting question,I think it depends on the type of man,I was having a discussion with some men and they were talking about their kins woman that former president good luck was nacking and made her a minister, many were of the opinion that they cannot be a husband to such woman,my brother in-law told them if the president wants to nack his wife and make her a minister that he will also add his daughter as jara for the president, all fingers are not equal,it is left for us men to tune down our ego and work with whom destiny has blessed

You must have confused me with one of your sisters.

Confusion and lack of comprehension is a terrible combo to have.

OP talked about a lady breadwinner aka sponsoring her birth family; in your haste to spew the nonsense they taught you in Redpill school, you went on a
tangent.

Instead of you to go back to the OP and modify your post or even ignore mine, you started telling me about your sister.

My sympathy to her.

God will give you all peace.
