Itzpetersv:
I have been denied COE from two different schools for Masters programme. They said there scared I might not be able to get Visa. What can I do?

I am hoping in the last school I applied to for Feb 2024 intake

Hi guys, kindly help respond to this.

Considering the fact that there are more visa refusals now and currently working in a financial crime and fraud investigation role. I’m thinking one should just apply for masters in same field but it’s not a PR course. What are the future implications?

Hello people, please help

Which department is your role assigned to in your organisation?

If you face denial in admission, visa, or COE, don't panic; it's not your fault. Australia is currently facing and struggling with a cost of living crisis that's impacting numerous businesses and workers. Consequently, many businesses are refraining from hiring, and a large pool of job seekers are actively seeking employment. I would suggest holding off on applications, closely monitoring the prevailing conditions, and then proceeding with your application when things are better. It's important to note that there has been a Sudden Increase in visa and admission rejections during this period, leading to a reduction in school offers and COE issuances. Stay informed and consider the evolving situation before making further decisions.

If you are in a hurry, consider exploring opportunities in other countries.

I do not see any connection between the new policy and this refusal.

Most of the policies that are to be implemented are not directly geared toward incoming students.

It’s majorly against those who are in the system already with study visa trying to regularize their stay.

I can tell that this application denied has some loop hole that’s visible to the VO. Because, construction management is a very good course that’s highly in demand.

And one of their immigration objectives is to bring in more construction workers.

For study permit currently, there are some major pointers that’s been looked into, as regards economic situation of the country.

If those loopholes are found in any application, it’s outright rejection.

All the best to everyone.

I respectfully disagree with your perspective. While it's true that the new student visa policy hasn't been implemented yet, there is emerging evidence suggesting a rise in student visa rejections recently. This trend seems to align with the government's expressed intentions to curtail the influx of newcomers in light of the ongoing housing crisis.

Consider the statistics: the number of international students in the country has doubled to nearly 700k in just three years. Given this significant increase, it's reasonable to infer that the forthcoming policy changes might indeed have an indirect influence on the current visa application process, especially for those applying from overseas. In my view, overlooking this potential connection could be an oversight.

Thank you for this write up, although, the number of international students from 2020 to 2023 is 100k less than the figures from 2019 and no one complained then. Another bizarre counting method is that student with visa who travel multiple times are counted as well. For example, if a student travels 4 times in a year, it counted as 4 people with student visas instead of one. So, no one actually knows the true amount of international students in australia.

International students aka cas cows/scapegoats for when they need someone to blame

Yes, notary public. And some people say they also certify in Court. So I just wanted to know if it is compulsory or one just has to scan the original copies of necessary documents to apply for the visa.
