Please everyone, my study permit got approved and I submitted my passport for to VFS but I haven’t gotten a message from VFS for 3 days now and I submitted the passport my self in Lagos. Please does anybody know what this means? Does it mean my passport have not been sent to Abuja yet or what exactly?

Has anyone used Eygpt Air recently? I heard a rumor that they ask people to open mobile apps to confirm pof. How true is that ?

Not true. It's only at POE you might be asked that. Egyptair will likely request for your LOA as evidence you are a student. But most times they don't even do that. Infact they don't ask anything.

Most likely there is a typo/error in the email address on the biometrics slip. You can call the customer care. In any case you can give some days interval and go back to VFs your stamped passport will be back there.
Also continue to check your IRCC portal your counterfoil no will appear the day your passport is stamped in the high commission. It then takes some days for the passport to come back to vfs and ready for collection

Your agent MIGHT be correct.
Me think it depends on the course you want to study and the choice of school.
It's best you are flexible with your choices as regards location, school and courses available. This way you could see nearer start dates. Shalom!!!

I need you guys help so I employed an agent to help me with student Visa she applied to a school CIMT I got my admission letter around 20 January and my resumption is for July 27. She said she was gonna help me with POF, Visa Fee, possibly SOP. This was around November last year so after I got admission she said Canada came up with some new policy and around February and they are denying people that we start end of the month or march beginning, so I was getting my SOP ready and wanted to go get the police clearance Certificate then I inquired how far with the POF she now started saying the way they do it, it no longer working and it might be difficult I just got mad and requested my funds back.
Now where do I go from here what options and solution do I have.

Is the school a DLI?
Is the course PGWP eligible?
Can you afford the fees?
Is the school in a location you like?

Your answer to these questions will show you what to do. Otherwise, you have to wait look towards the public schools where the competition is now stiff.

That’s the problem I didn’t run my account for proof of funds my agent said she would do the proof of funds without running my account. But at this junction she is telling me it no longer works and they can’t do it.

Thank you for your response, I tracked it and it says it is under process at Canada visa office. I don’t now know if Canada visa office is same as vfs or it’s the Abuja office?

Does anyone know the meaning of the response I got when I tracked it ?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 3:34pm On Mar 13
Fund your account, you can do a cash gift deed from any member of your family, return on investment with a certificate to back it up, you can also claim you sold the property. There are ways to go about it stop worrying your head, pls.

Canada visa office is the embassy where the visa will be fixed to the passport. Once this is done you will see the visa no in your portal. The passport will then begin its return journey to VFS and finally ready for collection. Good you are able to track, you will see all the movements on the traker
