Wonder1844:
Please will $24800 (34,000CAD) be too much from a tuition fees of 42000CAD, living expenses of 52000CAD and 4000CAD travelling expenses for me andy wife?

I am getting a letter from my office that I will be allowed to work remotely and over 50% of my salary.

Hello Wonder1844,

Your question isn't clear to me properly, but from what is understood, your funds are adequate and enough to show POF for the 1st year of stay in Canada. Do well to explain any lump sum and provide the applicable supporting document.

Good day people. While filling my 4 year old baby Study Permit application, the first doc to be attached under Application was Letter of Acceptance. Since she is a minor accompanying her mother who is the principal applicant, what do I attach in the column?

Hello Educhopper,

Use the mom's LOA for your daughter. In the form, also use the mom's information.

Good morning house, I just my admission deferred to another entry, either I come in Sept or January,
I was denied Study visa last year based on financial reason.
Now I am planning to reapply once I get my PAL in 2 weeks time,
In my first application my mother was my sponsor, the company I work for wrote a letter that they will be supporting with about 35% of my tuition fee. Now the same company I work for is willing to send about 60million to my account to show more seriousness from them and show that I have access to the money.
My Question is
1. Is it a good idea the money is in my account since I am going for an undergraduate program for 2 years
2. Should the money be in my mother who was my initial sponsor.
3. What other document can my company to strengthen my application.
Please help a brother

Hello Ademma2022,

Best for your company to have the money sent to your account while acting as the sponsor. You can then financially support. Your mom can come in as your financial backup, demonstrating her financial buoyancy just in case the sponsorship is withdrawn.

Give a proper explanation to the #60m lump sum by stating the purpose, merits to why you deserve the sponsorship/funds, etc. Another area to give adequate clarity is the reason or motivation behind studying at the undergraduate level given your work experience in your statement. For your consideration, if you need a professional write-up for your SOP/LOE, chat with GCMSWriters on IG/X.

Your employer can provide you with:

• employee directory, highlighting your column;

• proof of previous sponsorship of its employee for study, seminars, or workshops;

• letter of sponsorship – why you deserve the opportunity;

• board resolution letter – approving the sponsorship funds, the disbursement date, the bank account details to be used for the intent, etc. ;

• certificate of incorporation;

• bank statement, etc.

Devasia:
Good morning house.
I just got my admission and I have some series of clarification I need from the gurus in the house.
1. I have a 4 months bank statement with a steady inflow of cash; my monthly salary of 300k, I also work freelance which also gives me inflow of between 100k - 250k on weekly or bi-weekly basis.
My sister transferred a lump sum of money to my account as of October last year.
My question thus, is it possible to use a 4months bank statement for POF or it must be 6 months?
Also, since the lump sum was paid in awhile ago on 1st of December 2023, is it advisable to print my bank statement from 1st of January 2024, hence only showing my opening balance and thus eliminating the need to print when the large sum entered?
Please a brother needs your urgent answers.
Thanks

Hello Devasia,

A 4-month, 6-month, or 1-year bank statement is accepted. In the case of submitting a 4-month or 6-month statement, an officer can request for an updated bank statement for a longer duration using discretion. No panic, you can apply with a 4-month statement to eliminate the lump sum(s).

For your consideration: Since your sister transferred the funds in October 2023, you can print from November 2023.

To complement the 4-month statement presented, endeavor to include enough documents supporting the strength of your financial abundance and economic stability.

Please I need a guide to answering this two questions.
Thank you

Hello Wonder1844,

Is work an essential component of your study? Answer yes, if the study has WIL. If it's for your daughter, answer no.

For the second, answer yes.

Thank you so much.

My question is, if all other funds are available will the student loan of $24800 affect my application?

Hello Lance008,

• Tuition: $Bleep (1 year as stated in your LOA)

• Room & Board: $20,635

• Others: $3,000 or $4,000 (optional & not mandatory, it can also be left blank in the IMM 1294e form if using the GcKey account)

• Available Funds: $Bleep total when added together

P.S. For your subsequent study session, you can demonstrate the source of the money to meet the costs when due. Include the necessary submissions of your subsistence to show its reliability.

Hello Wonder1844,

No, it won't, but it could be if you fail to give sufficient information and proof to explain how the study loan would be offset, without it becoming a financial pit-hole or debt entrapment for you, and your family.

Please has anyone made use of CadRemit for payment? I’m trying to use the app now and it’s asking for passwords to my student account and Visa portal. Is it safe?

The Visa they give him in his Passport is a TRV. Basically what will allow him travel to canada. The study permit is given on arrival after a short interview with the immigration officer. To be on the safe side do not book any flight with 2 stops. You can only travel through europe with one stop except the UK, you will need a transit visa for the UK. And you cant pass through US without a visa. Look at Egypt Air, ethiopian airlines, Quatar, Emirates, Luftansa and KLM.

You will need a 4-6 months SOA. The account you intend to use how is the history, if it has a good history then you should prepare to do 2 months' POF, after submission. You can use ROI certificate to back up the money.

Good day bro,

What do you mean by good history ?
(I am using my personal naira account, although I dont have much there, some payments will be done from my dom account)

What is ROI certificate ?

Thanks for your response.
With a VV, maximum stay is 6 months. Minor would remain in Canada with mum for PA 1 year study. Also during the stay, minor is also supposed to start creche/kindergarten, etc. So how would that VV cover for her? I also have heard instances where people applied for SP for their infants, 4 years precisely and SP for the minor was granted. Have you heard of such?

The minor will be given a visitor record that will allow him/her go to school. 4 years is not of school age in Canada. You can apply for VV longer than six months

1. Yes, that is what you should do have the funds in your account
2. Board resolution letter signed by all company board members, letter of support stating the funds, letter of introduction

No, it doesn't. It just shows that the province has accounted for the student based on the quota allocated to the province.
