Is there any other document that can strengthen my application
Does my mum need to present any other documents
JMG12:
1. Yes, that is what you should do have the funds in your account
2. Board resolution letter signed by all company board members, letter of support stating the funds, letter of introduction
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by ademma2022: 3:16am On Apr 14
Thank you for your response,
JustMellow:

Hello Ademma2022,

Best for your company to have the money sent to your account while acting as the sponsor. You can then financially support. Your mom can come in as your financial backup, demonstrating her financial buoyancy just in case the sponsorship is withdrawn.

Give a proper explanation to the #60m lump sum by stating the purpose, merits to why you deserve the sponsorship/funds, etc. Another area to give adequate clarity is the reason or motivation behind studying at the undergraduate level given your work experience in your statement. For your consideration, if you need a professional write-up for your SOP/LOE, chat with GCMSWriters on IG/X.

Your employer can provide you with:

• employee directory, highlighting your column;

• proof of previous sponsorship of its employee for study, seminars, or workshops;

• letter of sponsorship – why you deserve the opportunity;

• board resolution letter – approving the sponsorship funds, the disbursement date, the bank account details to be used for the intent, etc. ;

• certificate of incorporation;

• bank statement, etc.

Best Wishes!

Good day at JMG12 and any others that can guide me.
I intend to process admission for my niece who recently graduated in Nigeria to start her MSc in Canada. She is about to go for her NYSC in June but I want to start her admissions and arrange documents now against May 2025 start.
My questions are:
1. Did she need to provide a letter from a company in Nigeria because she hasn't worked?
2. The father is the sponsor, should her transfer the upkeep money into her account or can he keep the money in his account and show proof and a letter to sponsor her?
3. Will she need to provide an NYSC certificate in the admission / Visa application stages?
Thank you.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by JMG12: 3:49pm On Apr 14
1. She doesn't need any letter to apply since she is not working
2. The dad should transfer the funds to her account
3. NYSC certificate is not mandatory.

Hello @jmg sorry just wanted to politely ask why the money is being transferred to her account, is it bad for the father to keep the money in his account and provide his own bank statement plus letter of sponsorship ?
Please I’d really need an answer, thank you!

Devasia:

Thanks

Please do you have idea what documents I could provide highlighting the sum I make from my free lance?
Though all payments from my freelance comes with a description.

Hello Devasia,

For freelance occupations, there are not many documents to be presented. However, the same documents for a self-employed will fly for a freelancer. Documents from your clients like:

• Contract agreement;

• Reference letter;

• Pro forma invoice;

• Business registration certificate (if available);

• Social media page(s) (if available);

• etc.

Hello Lowsugar,

You can use Flywire, Convera, or PayMyTuition. Check which financial institution is partnering with your DLI for fee collection to make it easy.

It is good the PA should have the money available in his/her account then you don't need to convince the VO whether the funds will be available or use for the purpose as stated on file, and then back it up with documents to prove the source of funds.

Please Gurus in the house I need your Advice ASAP!.

Can a property worth 50m be sold by a father and used as proof fo fund to sponsor a son, is that reasonable. Can that be done please.
And also what is the chances of Visa Approval.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by OTSAMUEL: 11:43am On Apr 15
The plan was that it will be stated that the father sells a property like house or Building to sponsor the son and the documents of sales will be supplied. I need advise on a proper way to do that to avoid refusers.

Good afternoon gurus in the house,
My wife applied for admission to one of the colleges in Canada and an offer was given and tuition deposit was paid, but she was not given PAL (Attestation letter) and i have been spending in preparing proof of funds so in other not to lose the money I have spend in pof, I want to apply for admission for myself so i can use the proof of funds for my own visa application when the offer is out.
I will really appreciate if anyone can help recommend any university in Canada that can give admission within one week, two weeks or a month so i can use the proof of funds for my own application. I intend to go for a master degree program in Architecture. Please I really need you people help.

Your chances will be better served if you are going for courses related to your job roles. Presently, you cannot travel with your family except you are studying masters, PHD or specialized courses.

Why do you want to move to a school with PGWP
LEAVE anything that has private career programmes.
Then what makes Toronto not easy, which school are you in Toronto?
