But I never asked for your help at all. I simply asked you how boldness and confidence factor when God made clear that the one and only thing able to hinder your prayers is your unrighteousness? undecided

You forgot that humans are still humans. The devil can still manipulate the heart of a righteous person to pray to God with evil motives. And God, being God, searched the heart of the person, saw that the motive behind the prayer was not right, and then decided not to answer.
A heartbroken righteous person can, out of the brokenness of her heart, pray to God to terminate the life of her offender. It can happen because we are all humans, and we are never perfect.

1. According to God, He only answers the prayers of the righteous; the prayers of the unrighteous are an abomination to Him. So, it doesn't matter the motive behind the prayer, as what matters is whether or not you are righteous in God. Meaning that regardless of the motives behind the prayer, even your forgiveness prayers are not answered by God when the one saying such prayer is not already righteous. undecided

Abraham and Job were both righteous men and as such God was obligated by His Word to answer all of their prayers which is exactly what we are told that He did. undecided

1. Being human is no excuse for God. undecided

2. God is no man's mumu! God does not mistakenly approve a man who still harbors wickedness in his heart. He is good(Righteous) and only He can approve a man of that. undecided

3. Do you know what it means for God to be a Faithful God? It means He can NEVER break His Promise. His Promise to those whom He has approved Righteous is that He will always grant them the desire of their heart. When David, who was approved righteous by God even before he was made King by the same God, coveted the wife of Uziah and went as far as to kill him to get at her, God did not change His mind regarding David. Why? Because God's Word is Everlasting! undecided

4. Again, your "I am human" excuse no matter at all where God is concerned. undecided
