This rubs on the women and they - just like the male folks - look down on "broke" people. To the latter, the excruciating poverty, lack of abundant economic opportunities, competition for the scarce ones and lack of wants in society means those who attain a level of financial comfort are accorded respect. I think that is the ideology that drives our men to die put on top sex because hey, they never had it or had it easily or enough while they were much younger. The thing is when you find men with enough finance in Nigeria, women will not let them rest. Men that want women for sex generally set the standard low, after all, whats the point putting barriers that may lead to the denial of sex?

So when women deal with these kinds of men, they just assume that the real men wont have standards, and and will have no expectations like the previous.

When in reality, men are super careful with who they marry, but very careless with who they have sex with.

And what you said about men having no taste has always been the general attitude. They believe that every man wants them, and just showing up should be enough.

Ultimately, everybody have the right to choose. A man can decide what women he wants to be with, and if he cant find her, thats his problem. It is not for some random woman to tell a man the qualities he should look for.
