Gerrard59:Nigerian women often overestimate their influence, assuming that every man’s hard work and success is driven by a need to prove something to an ex. Imagine going through the challenges of relocating, studying for exams, learning a new language in a foreign country, and tirelessly praying and preparing for opportunities only to have someone think it was all motivated by a past relationship. Nigerian women are so used to men who place all their self esteem on the money they have, someone wrote on Twitter that if you correct a Nigerian man, he will respond by saying "he is richer than you", such a moronic concept. Just take a look at this moronic post below, a rich Nigerian man with no self esteem (Someone like Davido & his groups of clowns kneeling & begging women for sex with all that money they have) is the Nigerian dream for Nigerian women, once you complain about anything regarding their behaviours, they just automatically conclude you're broke. Tightpussy2024:Men need to detach their self-worth from their bank balance and focus on gaining knowledge and intelligence. It may take time, but real success will come. Nigerian women’s go-to tactic is to shame men for being broke at every opportunity. They constantly seek out wealthy but weak-willed men to marry, but I refuse to be part of that cycle. I recently told a Nigerian dude that there's no shame in acknowledging your broke days especially at the young age of 22-26. The woman trying to shame you for it is likely facing similar struggles. Being broke is just a phase in life, most people have experienced it and moved past it. Nigerian men need to break free from the mindset of constantly trying to impress women by pretending to be rich. He was surprised. Talking about how many women struggle in reality, take Nengi from Big Brother as an example, she has ended up this month as the fifth baby mama to a 70-year-old Bayelsa State governor. Beauty can open doors, but it’s not enough to sustain success. Many Nigerian women lack the knowledge and mindset to build something meaningful that generates profit and value. Unfortunately, a lot of female Nigerian celebrities follow the same path, and these are the role models many young Nigerian women In and outside nairaland like Tightpussy2024 look up to. It's the same old thing, rinse and repeat. |

| Re: Ladies Only: Get In Here If You Like It Rough During Sex. by Gerrard59(m): 11:40am On Feb 16, 2025 |
Kelechi009:Bros, Thanks for your detailed explanation. To the post, I don't see it as a gender issue, but cultural and economic. The former is largely associated with the Igbos as we tie our sole existence to how much one has. This rubs on the women and they - just like the male folks - look down on "broke" people. To the latter, the excruciating poverty, lack of abundant economic opportunities, competition for the scarce ones and lack of wants in society means those who attain a level of financial comfort are accorded respect. That is the truth, and this cuts across all groups in the country, but I reckon it is worse with the Igbos. In fact, I bet that most of the complaints many men on social media have about "Nigerian women" are largely associated with southern Nigerian women, not those up north. You might deny it, but many men, not just Nigerian men, work hard so they can afford to start and raise families. When I speak with persons especially those who seek to know why I came to Japan, they ponder about marriage plans. To them, I am too money-driven to omit that aspect. But this is not the same for most men, especially Black African males. The truth is: men strive because of women, especially in a conservative society such as Nigeria. Unfortunately, no data, but we should ask ourselves how many financially stable men in Nigeria (all ethnic groups) are single and don't plan to marry in the near future? I wager the number will be single digits. Just take a look at this moronic post below, a rich Nigerian man with no self esteem (Someone like Davido & his groups of clowns kneeling & begging women for sex with all that money they have) is the Nigerian dream for Nigerian women, once you complain about anything regarding their behaviours, they just automatically conclude you're broke.Davido kneeling to beg for sex was very worrisome and disgraceful. But my thinking is that it is because of how we view sex in the country - unholy, sacred and something that we should stay off till marriage. But in contrast to societies in Southern Africa or the Caribbean which are sexually liberal than ours, sex is seen as nothing as it is not heavily frowned upon (pre-marital sex). I think that is the ideology that drives our men to die put on top sex because hey, they never had it or had it easily or enough while they were much younger. That is one reason our men get into an intense sex drive once they become financially stable even while married (although this cuts across all racial groups). But compared to other wealthier racial groups, we attain financial stability later in life. And compared to those in Southern Africa and the Caribbean, we are chained by religious and cultural ideologies. Men need to detach their self-worth from their bank balance and focus on gaining knowledge and intelligence. It may take time, but real success will come. Nigerian women’s go-to tactic is to shame men for being broke at every opportunity. They constantly seek out wealthy but weak-willed men to marry, but I refuse to be part of that cycle.Oh! That would take a long time to come. Mind you, some if not most of our brothers are exporting this "Nne, let me give you money because of your beauty" and "paying their GFs monthly salaries for being in a relationship" to nearby African countries. A NLder once noted how Northern Christian women love Igbo men because "they like to spend on women". Everyone loves money. So when the women have been so used to it, they are bound/expected to slander/shame men who are broke. He was surprised.Yes, it is important to acknowledge that phase in life. However, unlike men, women can get married even while broke or even doing nothing. Someone from somewhere can give her free money simply because she is a woman. I come across beautiful ladies on social media, and in my mind, these ladies would never be broke. I had them in school - they never had financial problems at all. There was a man somewhere to prove he was up and doing. Nigerian men tie their existence to how much they have. Unfortunately, a lot of female Nigerian celebrities follow the same path, and these are the role models many young Nigerian women In and outside nairaland like Tightpussy2024 look up to.Most women just want to be taken care of. Only very few want to continue working or assume major financial providers. This is largely evolutionary. Again, this cuts across all racial groups as the women - even while working class - are still hypergamous whether in the West, East Asia or developing countries. We have Nigerian men who want their wives to become SAHMs once they can muster the financial strength to take care of the household. We have men here lamenting how women - their wives - have to go to work where they are answerable to other men. It is because of the structure of the global economy, but most men would not mind that their wives stay at home. Some women even love it - Japanese women. Once they marry men who work at big traditional Japanese companies, they take the back seat. That is, resign or take a low-paying/less lucrative job and cater to their children. The men, in turn, love it as they assume full financial provision for the family. Traditional Japanese companies because they offer job security. I cannot say for Nengi as both parties denied the story, but Diri has four baby mamas already? |

Tightpussy2024:Ok, so what in my post proves that I am damaged, broken, bitter, sour-puss man hiding behind trauma and ego and insecurities as a banner of virtue? The fact that calling out the rot in today's society has made you unleash such opprobrium further proves how broken our society is. Infact, most of what I wrote is targeted to men, and I am way more harsher in my sentence construction when I address men. Just read through my comments and see for yourself. But any small criticism on women, automatically the man is heaped with curses upon curses. The irony is that you will prefer if your son or your brother marry a virtue woman that I describe. But in the same light, you are against the guardian of morality, a man preaching that women should be virtuous. Something that was the norm just thirty years ago. Ok I dare you. Tell me honestly that the current culture of sleeping around of today's women is good. Also tell me if you will advice your son to marry a virgin or a women with ''experience''. I dare you, go ahead and tell me. I am waiting. |

Gerrard59:Yes, the southern Nigerian women are a combination of women wanting western ideologies specifically to America with a poverty of a 3rd world country. The thing is when you find men with enough finance in Nigeria, women will not let them rest. They will be following you like pack of wolves, so If you are the type of man who has never seen such pack of wolves coming after you before, you will eventually get one lady pregnant. Be overwhelmed by the surge of women coming to you. I know this because I have been there before, once you transition from a guy who doesn't drive to Church in Nigeria to a guy who now drives a Range Rover, the number of women approaching you for silly reasons will astonish you! Davido kneeling to beg for sex was very worrisome and disgraceful. But compared to other wealthier racial groups, we attain financial stability later in life. And compared to those in Southern Africa and the Caribbean, we are chained by religious and cultural ideologies.See, this may sound strange but that rumour is actually true. If I also tell you why that the pregnancy proves the theory I've had about Nigerian women for a long time. The theory is simple: there's always a price to pay. Many women come online and deny this reality, acting as if they’ll never have to make that choice. But behind closed doors, they are paying the price. You either choose an older man and enjoy wealth as a concubine / 2nd or 3rd Wife, or you marry a younger man who is still building his life, meaning luxury won’t come immediately. Take people like Sharon Ooja, for example. Many claim to be with "high-value men," but when you dig deeper and investigate, their partners are often older men in their 40s or 50s. Divorced multiple times. That is why most of them never show their partners. Nobody can deceive me. Where are these so-called high-value men in their 20s and 30s? What exactly do they do for a living?! The so-called high value men are older men close to their graves. |

Kelechi009:With the newest tittle-tattle that Chika Ike had a child for the numero-uno Ned Nwoko, your theory is validated. I will have to believe that Nengi got pregnant for Diri. So after all the yanga, na Ned Chika born pikin for? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Alpha males on TwitterNG will have a field day!!!! Money is extremely important! Any lady who denies it is a bare-faced liar! https://x.com/bellathebomba/status/1891317025428930648?s=48 Nna, going forward, I will do yanga eh! When asked about marriage, I will bluntly state that I'm not interested! Not today, not tomorrow, not anytime soon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |

Gerrard59:Yes, sir. Anyone who denies the importance of money is not being truthful. If you ever see a woman on Nairaland making such a claim, it’s best to disregard everything else she says. As I’ve told you before, everyone in life must pay a price. Once you choose your path, you must also accept the cost that comes with it. I’m not trying to be religious, but even this concept applies to faith, this is why God allowed Jesus to die. There are principles governing everything, and someone had to pay the price for humanity’s redemption. Salvation was never meant to be free. As for so-called high-value men, they are often older men. Whenever you hear a woman boasting about dating or marrying a high-value man, ask her to show you her boyfriend or husband. She never will. The path is marry a young man, embrace delayed gratification or marry an older man & share him with concubines, enjoy the wealth & luxuries of this world. That is it! |

pansophist:You even gave her attention. She called me out also and called me monkey face but I am used to ladies like her here abusing me for saying the truth so I just skipped. Come to think of it - if ladies who just came to this earth and for no reason have taste and levels, for no reason are been given gifts, money, helped with car lift and so many more. If they can be discussing among themselves about how Kemi shouldn't date Jide because he is not in her level, she is more educated, earn equally or more, beautiful or dated someone financially better than Jide in the past, So why do they think a man shouldn't have taste too? Why do they think a man who has worked up the ladder without help and against all odds shouldn't have taste or class or levels or requirements? If a lady without anything can have it how much more someone who has paid the price to have what women have for free? So they expect him to be cheap? Without taste and just pick a random girl on the street? Most Nigerian ladies who travelled abroad will never look back at their boyfriend in Nigeria and they justify it by claiming she has stepped up but wants a guy who travelled out to be grateful of coming to pick a local girl back home? |
| Re: Ladies Only: Get In Here If You Like It Rough During Sex. by pansophist(m): 8:33am On Feb 19, 2025 |
emmaodet:Privilege is invisible to those that have it. All her arguments and defence all boils down to one thing, which is to repudiate women of any responsibilities from their past actions. Especially when such actions have effects in the future. Men that want women for sex generally set the standard low, after all, whats the point putting barriers that may lead to the denial of sex? So when women deal with these kinds of men, they just assume that the real men wont have standards, and and will have no expectations like the previous. When in reality, men are super careful with who they marry, but very careless with who they have sex with. And what you said about men having no taste has always been the general attitude. They believe that every man wants them, and just showing up should be enough. Ultimately, everybody have the right to choose. A man can decide what women he wants to be with, and if he cant find her, thats his problem. It is not for some random woman to tell a man the qualities he should look for. |
