budaatum:I guess you have listened or read thousands of books by now. I'm proud to have read lots of book too. Some very weird and bad like "American Psycho" by Bret Easton Ellis. |

budaatum:Here budaatum:Based on this advertisement you posted yourself on this forum years ago and the official teachings of AMORC, it's clear that the order's principles are fundamentally incompatible with a strict atheist's viewpoint The statement s" to the glory of God , the betterment of humanity and the evolution of the soul personality" in the advertisement, are not isolated phrases but they are central to the order's described philosophy. Unless you're prepared to publicly denounce AMORC, something I doubt you can do as some of your fellow members are likely following this conversation, then the acknowledgment of divinity and the supernatural is completely irreconcilable with your current atheistic stance. This contradiction is the reason I maintain that you criticise others for holding beliefs that you yourself subscribe to . A technical savvy friend advised me on how to retrieve the link. He pointed out that clicking on the moniker in the quote would direct me to the original page it was taken from . I did exactly that and it worked. But you said no link to it, suggesting I forged it. Here is the link https://www.nairaland.com/302215/manifesto-positio-fraternitatis-rosae-crucis#4260336 It is settled now . It is not my business how you choose to live your life, but don't extend your deception to me. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 3:33pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
triplechoice:Evidence please! Personally, I hate beliefs. My opinion is you believe because you have not bothered to do any research so you may know. Also, do you know how difficult it is for anyone to believe anything I say when I am so contradictory? Think about it. One minute I make you believe there is god, then the next I am an atheist? Kind of like the Bible with it's contradictions, if you ask me, the best book for atheist creation if read with an open mind. I don't want to be believed, triple. I specifically adopt a way of writing such that belief is not the first consideration after reading what I post, which one must use one's own mind to try to comprehend instead of stupïdly ïgnorantly just believing. Meedon:One thing about reading is it makes one an unbeliever, I find. You read a book and think this is it, and the next one debunks it. But I guess that depends on what one reads, for it's very possible to read only books that confirm ones bias. Yeah, I read a lot of books, and lament that others read so few, which is why I share to the extent most of my books are in the local government library in my hometown so my people can read too. You wouldn't believe I have not read American Psycho. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 3:44pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
triplechoice:So, I did not delete what you claimed I deleted after all like you have as evidenced below!? You do know you can also read my numerous post where I specifically quote the Bible and Quran too, as evidence of "incompatible with a strict atheist's viewpoint"? In fact, I have a thread on atheist viewpoints, sort of, a fi think it's as dumb a statement as claiming Christians have a "strict viewpoint". That blurb is from the book itself, and I think you read only the bread and disregard my many other posts, and this despite you recognising how contradictory I am. That's why you redefine me as a non-atheist so you can justify calling that post an advert, "to the glory of God". Most readers are not like you, and will not read only one of my threads but most of my posts, and will put that in its proper context, coming from a person who categorically states, gods are figments of your imagination. Many Nigerians are obsessed with Rosicrucians, I find. And I've also found some of their books to be rather interesting. That thread was in the context, to provide their books and information for free. It is not an exhortation to join in any way, and nor have I ever asked anyone to join. In fact, no one has ever contacted me on this issue of joining, probably because of what you post, which delights me, as you help me accomplish my goal. Pity you had to be a hypocrite and delete your valuable posts though, a crime you accuse me of but have now found evidence to show your claim is untrue. https://www.nairaland.com/7731741/mission/7#124154889 Makes me want to claim your principles are fundamentally incompatible with a the viewpoint of yourself that you promote, but I'm going to mind my eyes before minding yours. Readers, I have written more about myself in this thread than almost any other, mainly showing how my own father was sucked into unprofitable subs to Amorc that my dear hard working mother paid for. And Triplechoice and contributors inadvertently, helped complete the mission, for which gratitude due. Do know that I, and Triplechoice, I bet, are better off for reading quite a lot about Rosicrucians in order to understand, in my case, my own father who was obsessed with this stuff for years like it was a drug, and now I think of it, it might explain my insight of the 'Eve saving Adam from ignorant naked slavery' mantra you'd find in some of my posts, for I think my mother saved my dear father. Ignorance is not bliss. And it is expensive too. So seek knowing please. It frees, and is usually free.

budaatum:The book is quite interesting but it is full of horror. I don't advice you to read it. Though many books can challenge someone's believe but if you look at the world objectively devoid of emotions, you will find out that the believe that you hold is right to some extent. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 4:09pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
Meedon:"Holding believes" is not a thing I do, because my beliefs are subject to me searching for knowledge so I may know. I'd go even further and claim beliefs blind. Take what has become the subject of this thread. Triple believes I am promoting Amorc, and blinds himself to all else. I bet I might appear different to him if he didn't believe what he already did, I think. My beliefs are wrong, or I have not yet bothered to check, is my point. I will not believe the water falling on my head is rain after I look up to the sky and see rain falling, by which I will know instead. I do not believe gods do not exist because I have perused a lot of the books that promote the existence of gods and found that the existence of gods is no better than the existence of talking animals in Aesop. The story of the Garden of Eden shows how Adam was made to remain a naked îgnorant slave by believing he would surely die if he sought knowledge, only to be proven false by use her senses knowledge seeking Eve. Nigeria as a whole is in the grip Adam was in, but thankfully we have lots of Eves to feed them knowledge and set them free from the slavery of ignorance that belief perpetuates. |
| Re: The Mission by Meedon: 4:16pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
budaatum:So who are those Eves that will feed the populace at large the needed knowledge? |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 5:44pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
Meedon:The Eves are those who are not afraid to seek knowledge and share it with those who seek not, as Eve did with Adam. They, those Eves, must however be aware that the consequence is being crucified, as the murder of Jesus and triplechoice here clearly show. |
| Re: The Mission by Meedon: 7:22pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
budaatum:You don't see anything wrong in Eve's going against Yahweh's rules and regulations? |
| Re: The Mission by triplechoice(m): 9:43pm On Nov 14, 2025 |
budaatum:Do you still remember this statement made about you by AOOI? Read again, it's not only me, others have observed the same pattern, but choose not to call you out. I myself would have remained quiet if you had not crossed the line A001:I will return later to answer your latest evasion, duplicity, and misrepresentation. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 4:58pm On Nov 15, 2025 |
triplechoice:I'm not particularly concerned what people who don't bother reading my posts, as A001 confessed, think about me, for they are like those who judge books by their covers. In fact, I don't particularly care what anyone here thinks of me because it shows they don't think much at all. Do please "return later to answer your latest evasion, duplicity, and misrepresentation". I'll read it out of curiosity of how you reason, and others might be interested too. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 6:40pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
Meedon:No, I don't. Besides, Eve never received any Yahweh rule and regulations as they were given to Adam before she was formed. But let's dig deeper shall we, and ask why a Yahweh would create humans both male and female in his own image and tell them to eat every seed bearing fruit, and then create Adam to farm those fruits but not eat of them. Digging even much deeper would be, who wrote the Yahweh story and why, and what effect does it have on those it programs? | Re: The Mission by triplechoice(m): 6:58pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
budaatum:You demand, "Evidence please!? What evidence again? The evidence is in your own documented behaviour which goes far beyond mere quotation. Years ago, you advertised AMORC to recruit others. You defended the organisation passionately against its critics. And you promoted the book, "The Mystical Life of Jesus", the " Smoking gun" that confirms your affiliation with the AMORC belief system The book, which you shared a link to download, is a core doctrinal text of the Rosicrucian Order ( AMORC) . It presents the organisation's esoteric beliefs about Jesus as hidden truth based on claims of ", secret records" that are inaccessible to historians but available only to a select few like Spencer Lewis. Here https://www.nairaland.com/4793988/mystical-life#72173050 Oh Buda! Thou art greatly deceived but ye don't know it yet. A genuine atheist would simply dismiss this book as unsupported fantasy. But strangely enough, in the thread you created, you actively shared it for others to download. This was not the neutral act of quotation, but of promotion and advocacy. You were disseminating the foundational spiritual beliefs of your organisation while publicly posing as a skeptic, and an atheist Despite all this, the simple question you have refused to answer since June 2023 is , Are you a member of AMORC? Your inability to give a straight "Yes or No" for over two years, and even now after resurrecting the issue yourself, is the most telling answer of it all . So, I ask again using your own words, What " evidence please" are you still talking about? Who are you trying to mislead and confuse ? Your followers whom you regard as not being able to think, not me. What's next? Will you claim to be a Christian who doesn't believe in the Bible, Jesus or God, or an IFA adherent who doesn't believe in the Orishas? Is that the absurdity you wish to present despite the mountain of evidence you are attached to AMORC. Continue to play the ostrich. It's your cup of tea. Personally, I hate beliefs. My opinion is you believe because you have not bothered to do any research so you may know.Your loud proclamation that you, " hate beliefs" is perfect example of moral grandstanding performance meant to position you on a pedestal of self proclaimed rationality. It's status play to make you appear uniquely enlightened. The statement itself is nonsensical. Everyone operates on foundational beliefs, including the belief that our senses are reliable or that the scientific method is a valid tool for understanding the world. To then, " hate beliefs" is in effect to hate a fundamental component of human cognition. It's an impossible and deeply performative stance Therefore, " hating beliefs is an emotional position, not a rational one. The sensible approach is to evaluate claims based on evidence . The word, " hate" has no place in this process. It is the language of dogma, not inquiry. And no, you don't " hate beliefs" This is your Squealer performance, your version of the pig in George Orwell's , "Animal farm" ,, declaring , " I dislike apples myself, while hoarding them all. You do like beliefs, but your aversion is highly selective. You don't hate the beliefs found in the" Mystical Life of Jesus " , a book you promoted. You don't hate AMORC 's doctrines concerning the soul, Reincarnation or the , "Great white Brotherhood " In short, your "I hate beliefs" declaration is no different from a scammer who says, " I hate scams" . A confidence trick designed to secure trust and gain the upper hand , all the while you are actively engaged in the very thing you claim to despise Also, do you know how difficult it is for anyone to believe anything I say when I am so contradictory? You are attempting a classic misdirection. My accusation is not that your writing style is philosophically complex or 'contradictory.' My accusation is based on your documented actions: you have advertised for, defended, and promoted AMORC, an organization whose teachings are irreconcilable with the atheist persona you use to mock others. You are trying to shift the focus from your demonstrable hypocrisy to a debate about whether people find you 'believable.' That is a smokescreen. The issue is your past behavior, not the perceived consistency of your current statements. Stop trying to magically make the evidence disappear and address the facts. Think about it. One minute I make you believe there is god, then the next I am an atheist? Kind of like the Bible with it's contradictions, if you ask me, the best book for atheist creation if read with an open mind. No, you have it wrong.. You neither made me believe in a god , nor did you ever convince me you were a genuine atheist. I identified you as an initiate of AMORC , from the very beginning, a person pretending to be an atheist. I said nothing until you decided to extend your deception to me. Now you are attempting a classic misdirection. My accusation is not that your writing style is philosophical complex or contradictory. My accusation is based in your documented behaviour: you have advertised for , defended, and promoted AMORC, an organisation whose teachings are irreconcilable with the atheist persona you hide behind to mock others You're trying to shift the focus from your demonstrable hypocrisy to a debate about whether people find you believable. That is a smokescreen. The issue is your past actions , not the perceived consistency of your statements. Please, stop trying to magically make the evidence disappear and address the facts. Your decision to resurrect this issue means you have murdered sleep. So, since you have murdered sleep, you must now face the consequences. To paraphrase Macbeth in his final desperate stand, "Lay on Macduff, And dammed be him that first cries " Hold, enough!" I'm prepared to see this through. The evidence is laid bare. Let anyone who's following this thread judge for themselves . I will not be be a judge in my own case, and you are incapable of being an honest one in yours . Therefore, @ DeepSight, please be the silent judge without making your verdict public I don't want to be believed, triple. I specifically adopt a way of writing such that belief is not the first consideration after reading what I post, which one must use one's own mind to try to comprehend instead of stupïdly ïgnorantly just believing.I didn't say I want to believe you. And you're projecting Take your own advice and investigate the claims in the Rosicrucian texts you have shared so you stop believing nonsense . |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 7:45pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
triplechoice:I think evidence for the above would be you posting the correspondence I had with you when attempting to recruit you, since an advert wouldn't be as effective. So, as I repeatedly say to dump. I'll read the rest of your tirade later.

triplechoice:buda does not dismiss the Holy Bible nor the Qur'an nor Aesop's Fables, despite them being riddled with "unsupported fantasy". Please feel free to determine the genuineness of buda's atheism therefore. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 8:00pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
triplechoice:No, I am not a member of AMORC, and have never paid subscriptions nor dues. I have answered this question even in this thread when you first posted it, but you can't accept my answer because it invalidates what you want to believe. I do find their books interesting but not to be believed, as shown by my opposition to reincarnation, which you claim to be a belief of Rosicrucians, and which I categorically oppose, because, when you die you are dead. |
| Re: The Mission by triplechoice(m): 8:31pm On Nov 16, 2025*. Modified: 8:58pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
budaatum:Hehehe This is a desperate and clear attempt to create a false equivalence, and it won't work. You're drowning and clutching at straws, trying to equate it, a technical cleanup with your own deliberate campaign of. deception . Go back and take a closer look at the screenshot you posted and observe that empty posts carry the same date and clearly the same timestamp. Why? Because my response to someone on the thread was duplicated multiple times due to network error. I deleted the redundant copies to clean up the thread. The content remained public and consistent But your case is completely different and reveals a guilty conscience. 1. You made a post promoting AMORC. 2. When confronted with it, you acknowledged it as yours, but claimed the link invalid. 3. You then returned to demand I provide the link to the very post you had just acknowledged. 4. I went back to. retrieve it and found it has mysteriously vanished. The only logical conclusion was thad you having control over your content in Nairaland and the ability to report it to the moderators were responsible for it's disappearance Now, the most damning evidence of all: the thread reappeared. Upon reviewing it, I discovered that during that period in June 2023 when you claimed the link was invalid and couldn't reach the thread, you posted something in it. How is it possible for a link in a thread to be invalid while the thread itself is still active and you are posting in it? Your story was a lie This is dishonest behaviour, and for a person of your age and supposed intellect, it's truly shameful here below is a screenshot of the post you made in the same thread. Check the date Modified. Read again what you wrote below. You claim I said the link no longer works which isn't true. If I said so , how was I able to assess it? You were the one who claimed, lied, it wasn't working, not me.
|
| Re: The Mission by triplechoice(m): 8:52pm On Nov 16, 2025 |
budaatum:No. You haven't directly answered it before now. Besides, I know that members of AMORC actively hide and deny their affiliation for some reasons I was about to post until I saw this. Based on that, and given your past activities advertising and promoting the group, it will be difficult to believe you. And no pure atheist will ever promote the teachings of a private esotrecu group life AMORC. So, I still don't regard you as an atheist. It's my opinion and don't allow it to bother you. |

| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 1:04am On Nov 17, 2025 |
triplechoice:Seriously, you are funny, but I don't really care if you believe me or not, triple, nor does what you think I am concern me one tiny bit. Think about it. Of what relevance is your belief whether I am an atheist or not? Does your belief take money from my pocket or put money in it? Or is it that you think you can write whatever you want about me and others will believe you instead of using their own senses? Do note that I quote the Bible and the Quran too. It will confuse you more, I guess |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 1:10am On Nov 17, 2025 |
triplechoice:So, buda has supernatural powers? Though seriously the above is rather meaningless, I say. Triple, please tell everyone that buda has these supernatural powers. If they fear I can disappear them they might perhaps, well, I can't think of anything yet, but I'm certain you telling everyone will come handy for me some day. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 1:22am On Nov 17, 2025 |
triplechoice:Here the link, for those who wonder. https://www.rosicrucian.org/rosicrucian-books The books are free. And I find them interesting. For those tempted to merely believe, note ignorant naked enslaved Adam, and learn from non-brlieving use her senses Eve.
|
| Re: The Mission by Meedon: 9:03am On Nov 17, 2025 |
budaatum:I don't fancy that Adam and Eve story, because it piss me off. |
| Re: The Mission by triplechoice(m): 11:00am On Nov 17, 2025 |
budaatum:Your attempt to intentionally misinterprete the word , "disappeared", as refering to supernatural powers , is as laughable as it is pathetic. You're not fooling anyone with this childish deflection The context of my statement unambiguously included your control over your own content and the ability to report it to moderators. Any reasonable person understands that in this context, " disappeared" clearly means the thread was removed or temporary hidden from public view through moderator action . This is a standard function on any forum. You know this, I know, and everyone reading this knows this. Your decision to pretend otherwise is deliberate diversion, and the last resort of someone who has been caught in a lie and has no legitimate defense. You want to change the subject because you cannot address the facts. You acknowledged the post was yours. The thread subsequently vanished. You then demanded a link to the evidence you had just made inaccessible . You're too old for these games. Address the substance of the accusation or admit you have no answer. Your farcical pretense since you rresurected this issue only serves to confirm your guilt. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 2:17pm On Nov 17, 2025 |
Meedon:I'm so glad you don't fancy it. Many argue the Image of God, is the same as Adam of mud, despite the fact they were given different duties and pay, and is an interpretation that programmes them to be ignorant so they can easily be enslaved or at least controlled. Flip side is, the Adam and Eve story also teaches how to be free from slavery. Simply eat fruits of trees of knowledge. It also teaches me that some will understand as triplechoice does and some might understand different to him. Please let him know when I ask you to join AMORC. Post here so I know too please. |
| Re: The Mission by budaatum(op): 2:30pm On Nov 17, 2025 |
I think you are confused and can't admit it. Imagine reporting my own post to moderators to disappear or hide it, and then asking those same moderators to reinstate it when I want. Do you seriously think the moderators will have time for such nonsense? If I want you to join an organisation, I wouldn't just post a thread, but will also attempt to communicate with you offline so I can better convince you. Thankfully, you don't really want to bust me here or you'd have posted that communication already, or would have convinced one of the others you claim I recruited to post my communication with them. It's after all not that buda is so powerful and effective that not one person buda attempted to recruit would not have said no, and be willing to oblige you. Right? I guess I could have asked you to sign a non-disclosure agreement before contact was made, which you wouldn't go against because you fear what I said I'd do to you if you dared. triplechoice: |

budaatum:Then imagine asking me for a link to a post you already acknowledged as yours. It's irrational behaviour which exposes you. I think you edited my past post to claim what I will never do Me : But it is from a thread you created long ago. Budaatum: Provide the link then so everyone confirm you haven't edited a post of mine. New Act. Scene 1 But you did the opposite in June 2023 . Acted irrationally and in confusion when confronted with your past. Me: "This is your post where you advertised AMORC. Budaatum . The trail you left behind was how you acted irrationally due to guilty conscience. How often do forum members ask for links to their past post when confronted with it.? Nobody does that. The fact you did is telling of something. And how were you able to assess it yourself later after claiming the link is invalid? Questions you will never answer.
