My own is that living a sinful life is very necessary as a muslim. In fact, if you're not sinning 24/7, allah will never be happy with you and he will sweep you out of existence and replace you with sinners!

By Him in Whose Hand is my life, if you were not to commit sin, Allah would sweep you out of existence and He would replace you with those people who would commit sin and seek forgiveness from Allah, and He would have pardoned them.
