lemme write out a kind of schedule. The first tin we will do is a clutch purse wen we are done and 5pple uploads their finishd work den we will move to sumtinelse. Before i proceed, i will like to say dat there are plenty ways of doing this things and i will b teaching you the method am most comfortable with.
Materials needed for a clutch purse:
Kari Board (the board used by shoe makers)
Oci gum or Top gum(shoe makers gum too)
foam(you can buy d flat one used by furniture makers)
chip board
fabric(ankara, or leather)
long ruler
design(optional.) its wot u put on d purse like a stud.
in to in pins(toko taya)
chain (optional)
bag lining or tapheta
needle n thread (or sewing machine)
magnetic button.

you can get it from pple selling shoe making materials, most of dem sell bag mateials as well.
if ure in lagos, you can go to mushin or in ibadan go to giwa adini complex at dugbe market.

Board: the major things to consider when making a clutch is d length and width of ur purse,e.g u could want a purse of 10" width and 5"length, u myt want it to look like a square or a rectangle it all depends on ur measurement. u know we av 3 sides on a purse, the two sides dat makes d inside of ur purse nd d flap which covers the purse dis means u need d length of ur purse in 3places. 5×3=15. u can an extra inch for folding d flap(optional). now cut out ur kari board using the measurement we got. ur board in length will b 15 or 16 as d case may b and d widness will be 10. on ur 15 by 10 board, now divide the board into 3 using d length of ur purse(5"for pple using 16,after dividing u will av a part dat is 6", mark out 1" and rule.note: always rule ur markings dats y u need a ruler nd measuring tape. now dat we av demarcated fold to get a purse-like look and dis is where u decide design u want on d flap. u could make it envelope shape, round tip, unequal triangle etc, just b creative nd pls use ur measuring tape n ruler to determing where to cut. after cutting d flap apply gum on d back of ur board and add foam to it. cut out a chip board of the same measurement.
cutting of fabric: add 2" on all sides to wot u cut on ur board meaning u will b adding 4 to length15=19 and 4 to width 10+ 4=14. cut out 19 by 14 fabric and cut same for linning.
apply gum to d inner tip of d board( the part wtout foam) and wrap the fabric on d board. wrap linning fabric to chip board

Am in too I have been having issues with attaching d sides of my clutch, also after folding my lining is always longer than outer fabric why

Then the flap always tilt upward too what is d cause
