hollaugo: @ferdimako, when people ask questions in a forum it is only polite to assume the reason the person is asking is because they dont know, it would be kind of you to respond to them as politely as possible regardless of your supposed experience with this process, @solomon and damakollins are usually very polite and patient with even the most outrageous questions. The point is that if you are always confrontational people would be scared of asking questions which would defeat the purpose of this forum and also thanks for the times that you actually provide information.
What? Like this one u asked now....I think I will pass on ur questions. They are repetitional...carry ur awards I no want.

This reaction is exactly what i am talking about. would be great if you kept quiet rather than answer rudely. So that people who have patience and the time would respond.

Hallelujah! Finally got to hear from WES on Saturday that the re ready to commence evaluating my results and to be completed 27 october. Ol boy! that's too far o, and my NOC is filling up fast.
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by yomifowe(m): 11:41am On Sep 29, 2014
Fingertips: Hello House, just received notification that my ECA report has been completed and will be shipped by close of business. that was really fast prior to the initial mail i received 2 days ago that it will be ready on the 21st of October. My NOC is 2131 and i really needed my Engineering degree to be evaluated as MSc was on Project Mgt., will it be a problem? Now i await my IELTS exam on the 20th of Oct. I'm impressed with WES, guess Nigerian degrees always delay the assessment.
Congrats. have you received your result now?

guess we re in similar situations, got a mail from WES on saturday that my evaluation has commenced and it ll be ready by 27th october. I pray it ll be as fast as yours.

hollaugo: i already submitted for 2171 earlier this month and on their website it says accepted applications for 2717 is 275 at the moment. @solomon and @damkollins please can you comment on this
The 275 received applications seems to be like for the first 5 weeks from the commencement of FSW2014/2015 and most of them are applicants whose applications were returned last stream because of CAP full.
Really,by mathematical estimation(by use of previous data at disposal),its believed that the NOC will be full on 25th Sept,2014.It simply means that any applications received after 25th Sept,2014 may be in jeopardy.
Like I always say, this is more of permutations and combinations......but its safe to assume that applications received this month and next month may fill the cap up.
But I'm preety sure yours will make the cap since its early this month.
Cheers.

hollaugo: That post claimed that 2171 is closed. Not sure where he got the info from so I wanted to clarify.
His assumption is based on the same permutations and combinations that i just explained.
Just relax your mind....hope and pray for the best.
Cheers.

You should be notified of its completion within the next forthnight.

yomifowe: hello everyone,
I would like to go to colleect my ielts result as it wasnt sent to my address as promised.
Would it be released without my intl passport?
Thanks.
Your passport ID will be requested from you before collection....I suggest you try and have it in your possession before going for pick-up.
Cheers.
Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by yomifowe(m): 12:41pm On Sep 29, 2014
Genteffect: Please how much does the evaluation cost and how did you make the payment. I just requested for my transcript in school, and I've already opened an online account with WES for the FSWP. Thanks
I dont know if your question has been answered satisfactorily. I paid 299 approximately 300 dollars with my credit card.

After filling the requisition form on their site, you ll be redirected to a payment portal where the amount to be paid by you would have been calculated for you based on what you filled in your form.

Meritl: Sent my package on Saturday.
Waiting for God's favour to shine on it.
Congrats. It's settled, according to the measure of your faith. Just give God thanks.

Hi.

wrt WES verification, the only way you can expedite action is to try and contact your school to know what they require and pay the necessary fees, if possible, you can go there or send someone there. In my own case, after about three (3) weeks, i finally got someone to help make enquiries and eventually paid 50 dollars after which the verification was sent to WES last weekend (result verification notice on 18th August).

Yes...WES does not evaluate Uniport.
ICAS(http://www.icascanada.ca/fsw/home.aspx) does...a buddy of mine evaluated his certificate successfully and received it last week friday even though he went through a lot of manual interaction from his department before it was successful.
Graduate from uniport are applying so please use ICAS.
Cheers.

chuka2003: It won't be a bad idea to give him the link to the website. .
Bros, you wont get to know the amount for your WES evaluation until after you fill the form. So let me tell you what i did in my own case. I went ahead to fill the form and after everything, the payment page came up. Instead of clicking on the pay now button, i just left the page.

I then went back to the site when i had money in my account and my credit card was ready and then made the payment.
But the amount should be 299 dollars.

All the best

Again, u selected the option of using courier to receive your ECA results. U can opt for $203 and receive as a standard mail...
