I've come across many sites on the Internet where the
image of Nigeria is tarnished due to the hate most
Africans have for Nigerians. After making some
research I got a number of reasons.

1.Nigerians Are Termed as Aggressive

They term Nigerian's as aggressive for a reason one cannot fathom and I certainly don't see any point why Nigerians be termed as aggressive. Probably Because It seems that
Nigerians are practically taking over every field
despite the challenges they face. In the world of ICT,
There is Phillip Emeagwali who invented the Super
Computer which is one of the fastest computers on
earth, in the world of acting there's Omotola Jalade
Ekeihinde, Genevieve Nnaji, Stephanie Okereke. Just
to mention a few. These ladies have made their
marks in the world of acting and are well known
around the world, When it comes to literature, Late
Chinua Achebe, Chimamanda Ngozie Adichie, These
Award Winning Authors Have Been Outstanding in
every way. In the educational field there is Professor
Wole Soyinka, Who has won many awards and
recognized worldwide, In the world of Pageantry,
Beauty Queen Agbani Darego Took The World by
storm in 2001, When it comes to telecommunications,
there's Mr Mike Adenuga, The CEO of Globacom, One
Of The Largest Indeginious Telecommunication
Networks in Africa, In The World Of Finance, Mrs
Ngozi Okonjo Iweala (Current Minister Of Finance &
Former Managing Director of the World Bank), Music:
Asa, Fela Kuti, Psquare, 2face, Religious
Leaders:Reverend Adeboye (G.O Redeemed Christian
Church Of God) Comedy :Basketmouth, A.Y, Bovi,
Sports;Kanu Nwankwo, Jay Jay Okocha
The Richest Man In Africa Alhaji Aliko Dangote is
unarguably a Nigerian,The largest African Online
Forum Nairaland is a Nigerian Site, Nig-Com Sat-1
The Nigerian Satellite was also the first African
Satellite to be launched into space,. This hatred of
Nigerians because of this is appalling.

2.Nigerians Are Proud And Show Off A Lot

This is a reason that was posted by a South African
on one site . Nigerians are portrayed as proud and arrogant. Nigerians are proud and certainly not arrogant or insolent. Why shouldn't Nigerians Show off and
be proud of Nigeria as every patriotic citizen should . A country with a vast cultural heritage
and languages, the largest
Black nation, Nigerians have enough reason to be
proud and show off. Even though there are political
and socioeconomic problems in the country,
Nigerians still try to be the peace loving people who
they are unlike some countries where violence is the
order of the day

3.Nigerians Are Scammers and
Fraudsters.

Many people who have been scammed
online practically associate any scammer to Nigeria.
The real case that most Africans fail to recognize is
that many non nigerians hide under the cover of
being nigerians to scam their fellow countrymen , I
am not trying to say that there are no scammers in
Nigeria, if a person steals from somebody, should his
country be accused of theft?. This is simply
unacceptable.


4.They Take Our Girls
I laughed when
I saw this. Other countries complaining that
Nigerians take their girls. Naturally ladies are
attracted to successful and attractive men and that
is what an average Nigerian is. If they achieve
higher feats in the nearest future maybe it might
turn around Despise the fact that Nigerians are
hated so much, Nigeria still remains a force to
reckon with in the world and most especially Africa,
Nigerian Soldiers Die Trying to restore peace in
troubled countries Nigerians Invest in other countries
to boost their economy, presently Nigeria has
successfully eradicated the deadly ebola virus
without the experimental zmapp drug manufactured
by the United States of America and Nigeria is
currently being asked to extend a helping hand to
other nations still suffering from the scourge of the
deadly Ebola virus . Despite all this Nigeria is still
showered with so much hate. What have Nigerians
Done That Any Country's citizens haven't done
before?

Bunch of bullcrap no one hates Nigerians. It is all in your mind. Nigerians themselves dont ven like or trust each. We hear this anthem from Nigerians too many times, south africans hate us, Ghanaians hate, Americans hate us and Africans hate, they hate us because we are handsome, we are smart, we are rich, we have big dicks. They hate us because we are taking their women. This mindset of others hating Nigerians is the manifest of the hatred you have for yourself because no one hates Nigerians. I don't know if anybody has noticed this as well, if three to four African guys are standing at a particular spot either at a bus stop or anywhere, Nigerian always stands out among them. Nigerians has got this unique and special aura that follow them wherever they go.

Nigerian dressing codes - on point, charisma, confidence( while other Africans are behaving like mumus to The white colleagues, u ll see Nigerians running things), domineering(not bullying) attitude can easily be seen the moment you walk into any setting or organisation. I have seen it all over d place in UK.
