I know you are still hurt. Let me call the insurgent now to come after you.. grin grin

Awka is the emerging Silicon Valley of the East, with some of the best serenity and real estate development..and it is far ahead of Umahia and Abakaliki..now start crying some more.. cool

I don't know where the clown above me got his googlearth of Awka. Below is the real google earth of Awka an emerging Silicon Valley of Nigeria..

Egbe! Emerging gini? Not only silicon even slippers.

Oga, you people should try and develop that city, it's d worst in SE even Abakiliki created in 1996 is far ahead of it. Orlu, Nsukka, Okigwe, Ohaofia and Afikpo which are ordinary commercial towns are receiving more attention than your state capital Awka. I would have showcase a picture of Awka but you won't be happy if i do because no Area in Awka is good, even the popular Zik avenue is very dusty and dirty.

Man, if Awka receive attention today all of us around East will know, but for now it's the worst thing to call a city talk more of capital city, truth must be spoken!

You like crying when you don't have any moment thing to say. Take it or you leave is Awka is miles ahead of Umahia.

Umahia that I know can only be compared to a town as Ekwulobia. Aba like I have always said is a dumpsite.

It is high time you ask you governor to start doing something or the rest of the country will leave you people behind.

Stop crying mr man.. cheesy

You do not get it. As much as I know that Awka beats Umahia, I will like us to do a general assessment of the states on this following headings:

- Infrastructure (across board)

- Health

- Education

- Security

etc....... cheesy cheesy cheesy

Shall we.. cheesy cheesy

0lodoowoh:

0lodoowoh:

chino stop killing yourself, the awka I know is not as developed as abakaliki, not to talk of owerri, umuahia and enugu.

my brother tell him ooo, i don't know what's wrong with that young man, is like he has problem in his brain box. I don't know his intention and what he's trying to portray about Igbo capital cities if he can open his mouth and say that Awka is better than Owerri, Umuahia, and Abakiliki. Hmmmmm, dusty Awka, pls ask him to give us a picture proof of what he has been saying.

grin grin grin grin grin grin

I know how bitter you are.. grin grin

But the truth is that Umahia is a rural area. Awka is currently a big construction site with flyovers, tunnels and massive infrastructural upgrade for 21st century being constructed while Umahia is just a sleepy rural town without even a pedestrian bridge.. cheesy

I've been suggesting this time without number but chinonso couldn't allow it to abate.

Picture comparison will solve the whole problem.

Wow you are in Onitsha, please take more pictures please, then you proceed to Awka to see the huge construction site the city has been turned into. cheesy

0lodoowoh:

Re: AWKA: A Capital City In Race To Catch Up With Others by yorubakid2: 12:58pm On Oct 07, 2014
On the topic, I have been to both awka and umuahia and what I saw from both cities/towns I would say that awka still have a very way to go before it can catch up with umuahia. Umuahia is more organised and developed when compared to awka. Am not from the east oo.Am just speaking as a neutral observer cool cool

Umahia is a rural town so there is no basis for comparison. Let us create an Anambra vs Abia thread for overall assessment.. cheesy cheesy
