Bros, this your topic today get as e be.... Maybe I should say the way she is spoken to provokes the reaction. I have met a lot of tattooed ladies, very close to two(one has some serious tattoo, has a piercing on her tongue and the left side of her upper lips...mother is Romanian sha), but they were better mannered, lunch time was reliable...I made fun of the tats and piercing, but I never made myself sound like a saint. I don't want to believe that the tattoos and the piercings defines her aura...and I knew their boyfriends. I stopped judging a lady by her looks, when a lady in mini skirt beat me in a chess game.

You tried this time but I'm still not convinced

You mis-interpreted me in the first paragraph. This is NOT the matter of crowd pleaser..All I'm trying to say is that, you shouldnt only live your life the way it pleases you, you have to care what about people also say.

Lemme quickly chip in this. To run the race of live, you have to accept criticism and told them by your right hand so as to know which area of your life really needs adjustment

If I want to live my life the way it pleases me alone, then it means I can go about drinking, gambling and smoking not minding what people would say. *I live my life the way I want shey ? *

Go and make your research and check those who live the life of " I don't care what people say", then you will understand me better

Madam I don want you to believe me, take it or leave it, the numbers of wayward, irresponsible and ill-mannered tattoed Nigerian ladies outweigh that of the responsible ones with a wide margin. Forget about your tattoed frnds you are using as a case study

@Bolded... why? cos they'd prove u wrong? If ur doing a research, u shuldn't decide on who shuld b sampled and who shuld't. As long as u have determined the criteria as being "tattooed babes", then all tattooed babes should be examined...not just those u'v come across. I speak based on my experience and their tatts have nuttn to do with their attitude.

I dont care what people say... that does not translate to "Living a careless life". Live well and treat ppl like u'd luv to be treated. Let nobody write the pages of ur life for u. I alone account for myself so I dont c y I shuld live my life pleasing others. As long as I know watz right, Il do it. No matter how much u want to live by impressions, u cant win everybody. So y bother trying?

Nwayz Tosyne...u have ur views, I have mine.. I still stand on tatts having nuttn to do with attitude.

Dey dia make pant dey wear you.. Mind you, an indecent lady who dresses half naked will also say "never judge a book by its cover"

The truth is, we must NOT live our life based on the saying "never judge a book by its cover". Take it or leave it, your appearance is the first letter of recommendation even before uttering a statement. Your appearance however gives a brief introduction of whom you are and what you have inside of you

Take for example, look at my profile pix, what impression does it give you ? Does it give you the impression of an agbero ?

Secondly, why do you have to check someone's pix or his comments just to have a foresight of the kind of person he is before you reply his pm ?

My dear, the world has changed and everything is now taking turns. Appear indecently and watch responsible people refrain themselves from you

Don't live a reckless life and expect people never to judge a book by its cover

And lastly, it's not everything that is good that you indulge in. Sometimes you just have avoid doing certain things not because if it's actually bad but because of the false impression it gives other people. Take for example, there's nothing bad in dying my hair to blue, but why would I since it would make people feel I'm an irresponsible person

You are right about this one. I only need to check a persons facebook page before adding as a friend or check your tweets before following you.
Most people say that's not who I am but if you constantly have to defend your actions which other people see as disgusting and offensive then that's who you are.I have seen scenarios where tattooed/pierced people are denied jobs, rejected by inlaws.
My ex once gave me a waistchain and insisted he ties it on my waist and I must always wear it. That same week I broke up with him, why? because I dont like it and wont want to be defined by it.

wooooow I love intelligent ladies.. Please send me your bank account lemme roll in some money cheesy I'm impressed by your comment

Something happened to me when I just got admitted into the Polytechnic.. I did a late registration and on getting to the faculty, it was confirmed that registration had closed.. I was so devastated and felt my world had come crashing down
. I took a step backward and was heading back when a woman in the admin office who never knew me from Adam wailed at me. I went to her and she said she would help me out because my responsible look caught her fancy. Can you just imagine ?

I also remembered a scenerio when my friend was ordered out of the HOD's office during registration because he had his name customized as a haircut

My dear, this is Nigerian not United States. I pity people who draw thrash on their body and expect people never to judge a book by its cover
. Many people with this belief have lost great opportunities out of ignorance

My chief lecturer always said that some people would be offered jobs at the door step by their appearance. He however stated that not everybody is being offered a job by his accurate tenses and dictions

When you tattoo your body in Nigeria, the society frown against it and you are being pictured whatnot.

My dear like I once said, we shoudnt always live our life the way we want, in fact, I don't believe in the saying "I live my life the way I want"

There are certain things I would like to do, but when i look at the home I come from, the bad impression it would give those who trust in me, I refrain myself from doing it (this is not the matter of living your life to please people). Why? Your lifestyle must be appealing and people should see you as a role model. If I really want to live my life the way it pleases and suits me alone then I should be smoking Indian hemps by now "I don care what people say ?

I'm not rich for now, in fact, I'm not running a 6 digit account balance but I can boldly say I'm a role model to many people. Many emulate my lifestyle because they think it will also do them good

In as much as some do give valuable reasons why they do that, I still believe that a responsible lady won't and shouldn't do that. What happens to a diary? If its really a life experience worth remembering you don't need a tattoo to remind you of it;you wil remember it vividly even the date, year, particular time, how it all happened and all.
Sometimes we ladies do contribute to why most guys wouldn't want to settle down with us.

Nigeria girls like to overdo or overdraw their own tattoo nii.....and it has to work negatively because God is against it! we were told not to draw any form of mark on our body, yet some go beyond that. I just dont get it! Nothing will make me have tattoo on me......I rather use d money for charity work or something else!

Tattoos don't stop people from settling down with you, your attitude towards them does. I found a man who settled down with me despite having body art so your argument is baseless.

Lastly, people choose how they want to capture memories. You have photos do you? Why is it only good for you to have something that reminds you of a special event in your life but others can't? Mind you, not every moment can be caught by the flash of the camera, so you capture those moments & immortalise them in other ways.

I've got a friend who has his mother's date & year of passing tattooed on his person. He says the mere act of tattooing something connected to her, makes him feel like she is with him always. You can't take that away from someone or choose how they should remember things. It's not your call. People do what works for them so stop making it all about you & what YOU like or don't like. It's not about you, boo.

The OP said "Tattooed Nigerian Ladies"not "Tattooed South African Ladies"

I wonder when ppl will realise that the colour of onez skin, length of one's hair, art on one's body, one's physical appearance in general, has nothing whatsoever to do with one's attitude. It is purely individualistic. If a tattooed lady decides to be rude, its her choice... It does not translate to a General Rule based on Tattoos.

If u say its because of the tattoos, then there must be some magical powers a tattoo gives dat i'm unaware of. Stop judging ppl based on their physical appearance. Attitude has nuttin to do with the external...its purely internal. What u have in ur heart is what u give.....
Thank you!! It really baffles me the way some people think
Re: Why Are Most Tattooed Nigerian Ladies Aggressively Rude, Unreliable&Promiscuous? by Nobody: 9:40am On Mar 03, 2015
Why do u think they got the tatoo in the first place? Cos ''dem no send''. And that attitude permeates everything they do. It affects how they talked and behave.

Some however may decide to have a tatoo for aestetics, but they are rare.

It's not good to judge book by the cover (e.g. James Hardley Chase), but you know a porn mag by the cover. Much of the things people do, say and wear, is a reflection of the inner person

I think perception has a lot to do with this, previously our society frowned heavily on men with dreadlocks but I guess its becoming more acceptable now.I personally do not like judging people based on things like tattoos etc because it could be very deceptive and you could end up being very wrong.Every human being has a story behind him so find out the story and you find out the real him.
